Amazing service they were so nice and quick. Their food was great besides their hashbrowns were kinda watery but not terrible. Overall great experience about $15 a person.

Got the fried chicken and the disappointment was real. The chicken was so salty but the ranch helped until..... the long black strands of hair I bit into ? I do understand these things happen from time to time. The manger was really nice and gave me my plate for free. But my sons sausage was under cooked and not very good at all. But everyone has off day cooking so I will try it again.

Everything was good besides they messed up our order the older lady, that took our order didn't seem like she wanted to be there at all, had a RBF through out the whole time she was serving us, other than that the environment was good the food was great, the coffee not so much.

This really is the best breakfast in Idaho Falls. A cool diner vibe that has been upgraded to a brighter modern feel while still maintaining its classic charm. A very clever feat. Everything is pretty basic dining fair tuned to a more classic palate, but the sourdough pancakes are next level. Made daily from an ancient sourdough starter... you haven't been to Smittys without a plate of these. Just order an omelete, it comes with a shortstack on the side, plus warm syrup. While you're eating the omelets let the butter and syrup soak in.
