We were there for brunch and the server said they were out of Greek yogurt; we ordered Sushi and it was delivered without Wasabi, we asked and the server was surprised, came back and said they ran out and were making more-she did deliver it but 10 minutes after we were served-our server was very nice They've changed the set up add removed the tall tables-I personally liked it better with the tall tables
Excellent food and service. The restaurant was crowded and a bit noisy but not to the point we couldn't hear each other and talk at a normal volume. The walkways were quite congested in the main dining area but not to the point you couldn't get through. You just had to be careful to not bump a server or another patron. Overall, still a favorite restaurant of mine.
I ordered a roll when ordering I asked for no fish eggs. When I picked it up the first thing I did was checked for the eggs and there they were. I let the host know that I was allergic that's why I ordered it without and she took it back and said she would get it remade for me. I got home and when I went to eat it I see the fish eggs were still there... just some dropped on the side like they just tried to scrape them off. I couldn't eat the roll. I'm pretty upset that I let her know it was an allergy and they were okay with just scrapping it off as if that wouldn't cause an allergic reaction. Management need to run there kitchen better. As someone who has worked in the restaurant industry for a good amount of time that is not how things are done.

It's always a pleasure to eat at Smokin Fins. It was one of the busiest weekends downtown and they were so kind about us needing parking before getting to our reservation. The staff was busy & I'm sure it was stressful. There were a few moments we felt a little rushed but it was no big deal & they treated us really well & always filled our drinks & let us naturally wrap up our conversation. The food was so yummy (especially the mango tango roll) & I love that they got lower chairs instead of the high tops now. I can't wait to eat there again. Way to go Smokin Fins IF.
Food a bit greasy/overcooked (all deep fried)

Food is pretty darn consistent. Lots of options on the menu and great drinks. Get the smoking gun! The restaurant is well kept and has a great atmosphere with the exception of the extremely awkward deep booth in the corner. Had a party of 8 that had to smash into this extremely tight and uncomfortable raised booth high top situation. The servers can't even do their job with this booth. Otherwise, great spot with good quality food with something for everyone.

I ordered the Poly Poke bowl and it was quite disappointing to say the least. It was a bowl full of lettuce greens with a small scoop of rice (had to really dig to find it) and maybe 5 small pieces of tuna that were strung together from muscle fiber, not even cut all the way through. The sauce was good but there was very little of it, not enough to mix around to cover the copious amount of lettuce. If I wanted a salad I would have ordered that. $25 for this dish of lettuce is clearly the restaurant cutting costs. I have had better poke bowls from grocery stores. I did takeout and utensils and napkins were not provided in the bag adding to the disappointment of the meal. Friends speak highly of SF and I guess for Idaho Falls people are probably jonesin for seafood but I give it a Meh.

Happy hour sliders were subpar. The buns were stale little hockey pucks.

We were placed in a booth in the back corner of the restaurant which we didn't enjoy. Everything else was great.

Took some team members in for a business lunch and had a nice experience. Seated promptly and service was very good. Meals were all very good as well.
I pop into this place pretty frequently for brunch. As far as brunch places go, it is more reasonably priced (as opposed to Rib Chop House), has bottomless mamosas (as opposed to Snake Bite), and you will leave full (as opposed to Black Rock)... (I still like Black Rock a lot for its atmosphere). They are still a pretty high price point, to be completely honest, but I still enjoy it. I do kind of wish they would change up their brunch menu from time to time. I get gastropub type food isn't necessarily something you come up with on the fly, but I have had everything more than once and I'm a bit bored with their menu. Amazing service, swanky place, beautiful location, and a really awesome outdoor seating area when the weather is on your side.

Food is really good. But probably some of the worst service in Idaho falls. Waitress was outside smoking instead of waiting on us. Left a bad tip for this reason.

Got food poisoning
My family and I came in, and we have never experienced service so bad before. Jorge was our server, he only came up to us to see what we wanted to eat. Not once did he offer a refill or ask if we needed anything. He spent most of his time at the bar talking to other customers. Our kids were getting antsy and we were trying to leave but he would not come and bring us our check until another server (bless her heart) came and made sure we were doing okay. We love the food here, but this service definitely might be a dealbreaker.
