We had the cedar plank salmon and the mahi-mahi. Fried calamari for an appetizer and don’t skip the wedge salad. Served in a non-typical fashion in is absolutely delicious. server was very attention tonight. Highly recommend this restaurant one of our favorites in Idaho Falls.

Extremely disappointing experience. No dish was provided for soy sauce, which is a basic necessity at any sushi restaurant. The waiter never once tried to make room for new dishes or clear dirty plates—we had to stack them ourselves just to find space. When it started raining, he didn’t offer to move us inside or help in any way, just kept repeating the same line: “Can I do anything else?” without showing any real care. On top of all that, the sushi was subpar—low-quality fish, poorly rolled, and lacking in freshness or flavor. Definitely not worth the price or the hassle.
Will never come back or recommend to anyone

Staff needs better training — good intentions, but lacking in execution.
The team seems friendly and well-meaning, but it’s clear they haven’t been properly trained on basic service standards. For example:
• When serving, waiters should place the plates on the table themselves, not wait for guests to make space every other time while they are busy discussing something or speaking on a phone
• Dirty plates should be cleared without being asked.
• Staff should know the menu, including which items are spicy.
• Small details like providing plates for soy sauce should not be overlooked.
• If it’s raining outside, offering to bring food indoors would show attentiveness — instead of ignoring the situation.

As for the food: it’s okay, but could be improved.
Sushi would benefit from less rice and sauce, and the miso soup could use more flavor.

Great spot for sushi and a night out!
We had a wonderful experience here. The service was excellent, friendly and attentive and the atmosphere had a great vibe. The sushi was absolutely amazing, fresh and full of flavor. The cocktails weren’t bad either and paired nicely with the meal. Overall, a fantastic place to dine. Would definitely recommend checking it out!
