I found Las Peñitas 2 weeks ago- I’ve eaten there/taken out 3 times…., each time consistently excellent. I’ve been in Idaho Falls for 5 years, always looking for great Mexican food- Las Penitas IMO is the best, by far. Best Carnitas, Habenero salsa, nice clean dining area, lots of natural light, great prices. I absolutely love it.
Had a super great experience here. Super delicious authentic food and the atmosphere was so surreal. Tacos were $3 a pop and they have a ton of sauces available at the little station. Couldn't find any napkins though. Would definitely come back!
One of, if not the best, Mexican restaurants in Idaho Falls. The food was delicious and I loved the interior too; it felt like entering Mexico. It was clean and the service was excellent. The sauces are great as well.
