I accidentally came upon the Guardian Bake Shop when I took my daughter to college. I snuck in right before they closed at 6pm. I met the owner/founder and we had a wonderful chat. I have to say it was the best chocolate cupcake and best apple donut. I HIGHLY recommend making it a stop on your next travel destination to Idaho Falls. 10/10

We tried 6 different items. Every one was spectacularly delicious. We especially loved the Gnomeo chocolate cupcake, the Juliet white cupcake, and were surprised to even enjoy the vegan blueberry donut. Definitely worth the stop.

I was very impressed with the quality and selection of the baked goods. We bought doughnuts, a cinnamon roll, white bread, and cupcakes. They were all delicious! And not only delicious, but they looked so tempting with swirled frosting and sprinkles. My granddaughters add I were blown away with the selection and the high quality of everything in the bakery! I highly recommend this bakery to anyone whether they are gluten free or not!

As someone who can't have gluten or dairy, I'm so obsessed with this place! The prices are insanely reasonable, which is almost impossible to find when you have allergies. The food is amazing and you can't even tell it's allergen friendly!

So so good! If you are gluten-free, this bakery is a true gem. An amazing array of donuts, cupcakes, brownies, cakes, and tarts. The brownies with cream cheese frosting are so decadent and the lemon bars are a real treat.

This was a delight to find on our cross country road trip!!! The treats are SO GOOD, and the owner will take the time to discuss all the ingredients with you. She is so sweet! I am also type 1 diabetic, so she recommended a cake made with coconut sugar and flax seed for less of a glycemic impact - and it was perfect! Tasted absolutely delicious and barely spiked my sugar! If we ever travel across the country again, I will make sure we pass through here just for this bake shop!
