The two woman who waitress at this restaurant are very nasty and unprofessional. I was having breakfast and I had asked about the toast - Texas toast verses regular bread- I was confused because the bread I received looked like regular sized bread and I thought that Texas toast was bigger - so I asked if it was Texas toast or regular- she became defensive and stated "thats what the cook gave me". I then asked if she could please just ask the cook if it was the wrong toast perhaps the cook forgot or something - she got even more snide with me and then said that's what we have- I asked if it's the same price or more money and then I said ok and dropped it- then she proceeded to talk about me to her coworkers right in front of me- so I said "hey that's not okay I was just asking a question I have never been nasty to you I was just asking a simple question talking like that behind my back like that is not okay". they she started claiming I was the one who was wrong for asking a question about toast - this of course upset me and I let her know that - she was making me wrong for her attitude- but of course like a truly unprofessional person she continued to blame me -a 54 year old who was just confused in the moment -like I was the bad guy now that I was very offended and upset and letting her know she can't treat me that way it wasn't fair to me by being treated that way and being blamed for her attitude She then threatened to kick me out took my food away from me and demanded that I leave- I think these ladies are just plan bad people - don't eat here and if you do - watch out - they talk about you behind your back after pretending to be nice while being covertly hostile if you question something - these fake women are very unprofessional.

Went with our kids. Very disappointed. No one finished their meal. Everything is premade, even the pies. Nothing made in house. Wife ordered a cheese omelette, it was made with American cheese. Fries weren’t seasoned. Gross, do not recommend.

I gave Choate's a 5 because of their pricing. They have always been conservative on pricing, never gouging and is a neat place to eat to get the local feel of Jerome and her peoples. Have t eaten there in forever and was glad to be there, if y9ure ever in the area, stop in for a coffee, biscuits n grave, sirloin breakfast for $15?!!!!!
Lunch menu too but only had breakfast. We'll be back!

A diamond in the rough!! House-made ham and bean soup hit the spot. Added a dinner salad with house-made blue cheese dressing (so yummy and creamy). Lastly, a hot fudge malt (you can’t go wrong). Not the greatest curb appeal but it is clean inside and the food I had was house-made and delicious! Great service also! If you are needing a good meal in this cute little town, this is a great option!!?

Classic 50s diner experience. It was fun looking at all the decorations. Outside of the building does not match the inside. Good milkshakes, they are probably right best shakes in Jerome. Hamburger patties were pretty thin.

It breaks my heart to write this review; however, the food wasn't something that I would eat. Shamrock and Sysco foods suppliers have completely destroyed the American diner industry. My biscuits were factory made, flavorless, loaded with preservatives, and moist enough to be shelf stable for over a week. The hashbrowns were frozen and also lacked any flavor other than the oil they were warmed on.
If a diner makes fresh food, I'll gladly pay more money for quality and flavor.
