Stopped in on a road trip through based on reviews. Did not disappoint!! Simple minimal decor inside. Staff was so kind and the food was incredible! We were all mumbling "oh my God" as we devoured our food. Owner came out after we ate and chatted with us.Love to support small businesses like this. Amazing! Passing through town and chose this place based on the reviews. The place is no frills, but the food is fantastic. When they brought out our order, all you could hear is us muttering "OMG, this is so good" every few bites. Everyone was super friendly, even came out to chat with us after the meal. Highly recommended!

Wow! We stopped in after seeing good reviews on Google and were not disappointed in the slightest. The service, food, prices, and cleanliness were all top notch. The owners came out to visit when they had a free moment and they were about as nice as can be! We had menudo, quesadilla con birria, carne asada tacos, and a taco with cheese and birria that had a name I can’t recall. EVERYTHING was delicious. The menudo was the best I’ve ever had, tortillas fresh and homemade and do not skip on the homemade salsas. The coffee is INCREDIBLE! Do not add anything to it, it’s delicious on its own. 10/10 recommend this restaurant.

Good food. Ask for the English menu if you don't read Spanish. Very authentic, Jaliscan, I think. Black beans, not refried beans. A little downgrade on atmosphere because it echoes and there were lots of kids and conversation (but that is probably a good thing for many people).
