I have to say I've been eating at Bigwood Bread for years and this is the first time I've been disappointed. I ordered a Cobb salad and the bacon that came with it was a concealed blog of grease that was inedible and ruined the salad. In the past, the salad has been excellent and the bacon topping has usually been such a highlight that I've requested extra bacon on it. Thankfully I refrained this time. Guess I'll have to try something else now. . . .
One of the worst ordering experiences I have ever had. Line is 20+ people/families deep and the cashier has to stop taking orders to go make and hand out their drink orders?! AYFKM?! Be prepared to stand in line for a long, long, long time and then hope to find a seat!
(Breakfast) online ordering is a joke as at least half the time they miss something or get it wrong. Whomever is responsible for verifying orders before they are packed needs another assignment less demanding...read full review
I haven't been to the Cafe because I live in Boise, but I buy their bread from Albertsons: AMAZING! I love that the flour is grown locally and there are only a few ingredients, which is how all breads should be! For someone with food allergies, I was thrilled to find breads I can eat safely; when I realized they were insanely delicious as well, I stopped buying all other bread! If you ever expand a cafe in Boise, I will be there every week!
