“Amazing! We placed a large order for an office baby shower for shortly after they open. I arrived and they were freshly slicing and preparing my order. They gave me samples to try while I waited and were so hospitable. All of it was amazing! We had the brisket, pork, turkey, both sausages, mac n cheese, coleslaw, baked beans and potato salad. The portions for the price were great also. We will definitely be repeat customers! Thank you from the Asumendi & Kincheloe Tax staff for an amazing lunch!“

Here are my three favorite appetizers from the locally owned Goodwood Barbecue Company in Meridian and Boise Idaho. Try the fresh made onion rings with buttermilk batter, the loaded Idaho potato skins and the shredded pork quesadilla. I also routinely choose the made in house potato salad as a side dish when ordering an entrée, which is creamy and not mayo based, plus the not overly sweet BBQ beans as the optional "two sides with each entrée." They have a separate lunch menu section for entrees, salads and sandwiches.
The service at both locations is always friendly, they hustle and the restaurants always seem to be a popular lunch and dinner choice, filling up fast.
Reservations are available for large parties. Just call in advance and the table is already set up with menus, silverware, water, etc. While not a separate room, there are two locations in each place that can be set up. We have ended up with as many as 28 people.*
* note the mandatory tip for groups is now 22% and is calculated after the menu price and tax total, effectively bringing it up to 25%. And, if paying separately, be sure to let the individuals in your group know.“

“A luau in the deepest snow we've had since 2017?? Thankfully, it was held inside and we had Mimi Gerosin, Catering Manager, on our side. I contacted Mimi at the height of Goodwood's catering season in December to request a reservation for our January Christmas party. A luau sounded great in September!Mimi guided us through the whole process and with her many years of experience, made it seamless and easy. Incredibly, our food was delivered right on time despite the snowstorm and everything was perfect.Important tip: Please listen to Mimi's recommendations for food amounts! We ordered waaaay too much despite her gentle hints to the contrary. She's definitely the expert here.“
