I come here for the country music and after 11:00 they just start playing middle school hip/hop songs. It isn't what it used to be after they let go of their DJ. It's quite a big place and the last couple of Fridays I have gone it's been pretty empty. People have started migrating to other country bars.
Cowgirls is my absolute go to bar in the treasure valley. The staff is absolutely amazing, respectful and helpful. Dance lessons are a great start to the night, then dancing and drinks the rest of the night! I have always felt right at home here and it is always a highlight to me week! If you are debating on stopping in please do, you will not be disappointed!

The new owner is making this the best bar around Boise. I used to hate going here because the atmosphere never felt safe. This summer they are putting in a new dance floor and they have multiple dance lessons from the absolute best instructors in the treasure Valley (208 swing) and (dirt road dancing). Everyone seems really welcoming and inviting. Best place to dance and hangout, hands down.
