What a fantastic hidden gem in the hotel! Beautiful view of the changing fall leaves was a bonus. Full bar, very attentive server. And the food - holy cow! Beyond expectations! We had the pork. One of my most favorite meals I've ever had. The Duck is cooked to perfection. Derek Malone, food and beverage manager, personally oversees every meal to make sure it's done right. The pairing of food and wine is knowledgeable and excellent. I love the atmosphere of the historic hotel, and their elevated dining experience. I have traveled there three times so far this year. LOVE it!!!
The food was very good. My wife's filet was cooked just right (medium rare), and she said the vegetables were especially good. I had the pasta primavera with chicken, and it was also very good. Service, however, was extremely slow.
