Love this place usually the staff is really nice but this rude worker kicked us out as we were gathering our things. It wasn’t even close time for another 3 minutes and she said, “I'm not trying to say anything but it’s 11 can you guys get out already.” Super rude and she had an awful tone

I love the atmosphere of this adorable little ice cream shop. There are so many yummy flavors of ice cream served in a unique square scoop. The candy and fudge are great! So many cool candies and yummy fudge options! They also have tasty sandwiches as well!

We came in around 7:45 on Sunday the 3rd, I can easily say this was one of the best experiences I have ever had! It was super busy, but all the kids working knew how to handle a crowd. They were all 4 working together to try to tackle the line definitely some good training and tag teaming happening! I tried the wild huckleberry in a milkshake, I highly recommend. We will be stopping by our next time in town!

Own a house up the street. When we come to Lava this has always been the place to come get ice cream. Never again. Not only was it outrageously expensive but the customer service was terrible. The 2 employees kept saying “if it’s going to be like this I am going to put my notice in. Or I quit” not very professional to say things like that for out of towners. I asked for 2 scoops of playdough ice cream they were struggling to get it out. The gentleman that was helping us was having a hard time so he went to the back and asked Matt who was just sitting there on his phone to come out and help him. Everyone was wearing gloves he didn’t put any on while getting my ice cream. I asked the gentleman before me if he could ask him to put gloves and just put the ice cream he was already putting in my cone into a new one because I’m a germ a phob and I know they were struggling to get the ice cream out so it’s not like I was asking for much I don’t know what you were doing in the back plus when you’re handling peoples food you need to be wearing gloves. The guy said hey Matt and with a snarky attitude he said yeah I heard. They still charged me for 2 scoops of ice cream even though it was 1 then charged my mother almost $17 for not even a scoop of ice cream with some bananas on it. Very poor customer service and outrageously over charged. Won’t be coming here anymore will be checking out the new gelato place a couple doors down.
