We came in around 7:45 on Sunday the 3rd, I can easily say this was one of the best experiences I have ever had! It was super busy, but all the kids working knew how to handle a crowd. They were all 4 working together to try to tackle the line definitely some good training and tag teaming happening! I tried the wild huckleberry in a milkshake, I highly recommend. We will be stopping by our next time in town!

Own a house up the street. When we come to Lava this has always been the place to come get ice cream. Never again. Not only was it outrageously expensive but the customer service was terrible. The 2 employees kept saying “if it’s going to be like this I am going to put my notice in. Or I quit” not very professional to say things like that for out of towners. I asked for 2 scoops of playdough ice cream they were struggling to get it out. The gentleman that was helping us was having a hard time so he went to the back and asked Matt who was just sitting there on his phone to come out and help him. Everyone was wearing gloves he didn’t put any on while getting my ice cream. I asked the gentleman before me if he could ask him to put gloves and just put the ice cream he was already putting in my cone into a new one because I’m a germ a phob and I know they were struggling to get the ice cream out so it’s not like I was asking for much I don’t know what you were doing in the back plus when you’re handling peoples food you need to be wearing gloves. The guy said hey Matt and with a snarky attitude he said yeah I heard. They still charged me for 2 scoops of ice cream even though it was 1 then charged my mother almost $17 for not even a scoop of ice cream with some bananas on it. Very poor customer service and outrageously over charged. Won’t be coming here anymore will be checking out the new gelato place a couple doors down.

Walked in and the employees just were so unbelievably slow and would just talk amongst each other instead of making the order, and even while ordering would interrupt to talk about random bs. So customer service was wack, so maybe the ice cream was good? The scoops were alright, pretty decent serving sizes, hence the one star rating, but the cookies and cream malt was spoiled and sour. 🤦

This is the BEST ice cream & deli shop. The quality is amazing, they had the best turkey wrap I have EVER eaten and I dream about their lemon bar ice cream, it is to die for. To top it all off the customer service is incredible they are kind, generous, and patient. Despite being busy, they were super quick! AND the shop is so cute, the assortment of candy, treats and trinkets makes it a spot you really shouldn’t miss when you’re in lava hot springs. I truly wish google would let me give 100 stars.

I rarely write reviews, but I’ve been here a few times with all similar experiences (same worker). The ice cream itself was okay, but the customer service was horrible. The worker acted completely put out and extremely unfriendly. It’s not that hard to put in a smile and like you want to be at your job for the 5 minutes we were in there.
