The ice cream wasn't that bad, it's just the customer service that sucks. The past 2 times I went there, the teenagers working at the counter were rude and barely even acknowledged me until I started saying my order. I also bought a shake and a scoop of ice cream in a waffle cone and it was $17?! I should've questioned it before I paid because the menu has the prices.

Omg you know how when you're out with your friends and you decide to stop for ice cream once you get to Lava Hot Springs and then after dinner, you think ice cream is a great idea again so you get ice cream for the second time within two hours? Yeah...me neither...that would be crazy... Ok I lied, that's exactly what happened. Sweet Stuff...that's what's up. We pop into this ice cream shop. It is cute and there are all kinds of candies and whatnot to look through. In the left back area, lies some of the best ice cream in the whole wide world. I had to look up my ice cream flavor because I can't remember what it was called, and then here we are...I still can't find it. It was the chocolatey flavor and I believe it had brownies and marshmallow in it. I got it in a waffle cone and was shocked when it was handed to me as a square. I had never seen ice cream like this before! A little bit more about the square: it is freaking genius. It doesn't seem like much, but somehow, someway, it makes the ratio of waffle to ice cream PERFECT THE ENTIRE TIME. I am obsessed! The funniest part is that it wasn't any worse the second time we got ice cream. I would love to back very soon because it really was that good. Another funny little side note, I am pretty sure everyone in this town has beef with the ice cream shop. It became a running joke on the trip because every single store that is not the ice cream shop, has a sign prohibiting ice cream in their store. I mean, I get the ice cream can get sticky and whatnot...but this is true with all ice creams. However, it is the first time I have ever seen signs all over town prohibiting the ice cream. I have been to many towns with famous ice cream and this was a first for me. I am so excited for my next trip up to Idaho because I will definitely be stopping at Sweet Stuff again. Even though they use Farr Better Ice Cream, I still think theirs specifically is out of this world.

Avoid this tourist trap:- Unfriendly and indifferent service.- Sandwiches of stale WinCo bread with a handful of low quality toppings - couldn't eat more than the first bite.- Ice cream appeared refrozen and was freezer burnt - inedible.- Atmosphere was extremely poor as the restaurant was unclean with no seating/tables.

Visited here twice in a four day span. Excellent service and yummy ice cream. Some very unique flavors. Try the lemon strawberry shortcake, you will love it.

Extremely small portions- like really really small. The kiddy cones had 1/2 an ice cream scooper literally. And the adult square ice cream was really small too. And the person who helped us was very unwelcoming and unfriendly. I do not recommend at all- the taste of the ice cream wasn’t anything to write home about.

We visited twice. The ice cream is good but a bit pricey. The store is not a well kept clean place to eat in. The floor looked like it had not been mopped or swept in weeks. There are about 6 seats and a counter with 5 or 6 stools to sit at. But, not a nice clean, inviting place to dine.

We only come here for the ice cream and Is occasionally candy, but that doesn't disappoint. We went last Saturday (not yetserday) and I got huckleberry and moose tracks and they were both delicious. I forgot my phone so I didn't get pictures, but their ice cream is SQUARE! Tell me if you've ever seen that. I also got a mini jug of Sneaky Stardust, which is powder that turns into gum when you eat it, and I have never seen it anywhere in person. I only thought you could get it om VAT19. Still though, a really nice place with a good vibe and good ice cream.
