I’m writing this review because the staff was extra kind and made me feel great to be here. The food is amazing, my favorite restaurant in Lava. The pizza is 10/10, the salads are to die for, the garlic cheese bread is incredible, and I love the staff here. Always so friendly. The hostess came to our table just to tell me how much she loved my perfume and I decided I ought to leave a review! ?

Some guests in the Lava hotpools recommended this place for pizza and MUCH more. The salad choices sounded pretty creative and fresh. We had the Royal pizza and it was packed full of great stuff. If I had to use one word it would be YUM! Friendly staff, great service and a cool "old" ambiance!! A great choice!

Looking for a place for the family or with your friends look no further than the royal . The pizzas and calzones are delicious. Great drink menu and tv to watch a game . Then after walk around town for shopping .
I don’t like leaving bad reviews but I felt compelled to share about my experience from last year.. I will never forget how I was treated by the royal employees and unfortunately I will not be coming back ever again. My partner and I had just gotten married that day in Idaho falls ID, and had planned to celebrate our honeymoon in lava hotsprings. Nothing fancy, just some nice quality time near our hometown surrounded by good people and a good environment after our wedding celebration. We didn’t really get the chance to eat much at our reception so we decided to stop at the Royal for some pizza and yes, it was about 20-30 minutes before closing. We unfortunately forgot to lookup at what time the restaurant had been closing so we proceeded to walk into the restaurant. My partner and I waited 15 minutes before any of the servers greeted us let alone even looked at us. After patiently waiting for someone to help us, we were turned away. I think I was overall a bit shocked at the lack of respect and customer service, so we just decided we didn’t really want their business anyways. Coming from someone who has years of experience in the food industry, I understand how exhausting it can be. I’m also more than willing to admit we arrived very late in the day and everyone was ready to go home and call it a day. With that being said, you never know how your attitude may impact someone else’s day or experience. It was my wedding day. And It’s not hard to be nice. That’s all. Thank you.

We ordered a supreme Hawaiian pizza and some chicken wings. The wings were very tasty but the pizza was cold and tasted like a cardboard box. If I had the energy I would have gone back to the restaurant and asked for a refund for the pizza. Honestly, the worst pizza I have ever had.

The pizza was really good, great options and bar well stocked. It's a popular place so come early to grab a table. Service is also good and they are attentive to keep drinks going and food delivered. Not bad for a small town.

1 unisex bathroom for an entire restaurant/bar is a bit silly. Food was fine. Battling middle aged men and women for a chance to take a p*ss wasn't how I wanted to spend my dinner.
