Ernie's has really stepped it up! I understand they are under new ownership. The food has greatly improved. The wait time was a common complaint but that doesn't seem to be an issue anymore. The resturant has been remodeled, not a big change just some slight changes and upgrading very nice. The wait staff has been well trained, extremely nice and just the right amount of presence. My wife and I had the Steak Marsala, I highly recomend it. Been there several times for lunch as well. All the wraps are amazing as well as the salads. The bar has also stepped it up. We will be back many times.

I'll start with the bad and it's really not that bad, the wait for one person was crazy long, mind youIt was a friday night.I waited forty five minutes to get seated. After that, it was the most phenomenal experience I've ever had at a steakhouse, starting with the service all the way to the meal. This will be my to go place when im in town. Everything was amazing !

When in Lewiston, go to Ernie's. The prime rib lived up to the hype and was perfectly cooked. Recommend the cowboy beans too, they are awesome. The staff was friendly and attentive. Pay them a visit and support a local hometown steakhouse.

I’ve known of Ernie’s restaurant for a while. I have never eaten there thinking most things in Lewiston are mediocre not to be mean in assistance from experience. But I went there tonight and had ribeye steak mashed potatoes and gravy. The food was excellent. The bread was excellent mistake was tasty tender delicious the mashed potatoes gravy. I was a little shocked. It was white gravy with a ribeye steak. I was thinking beef brown gravy, but it was very good texture taste. But my biggest compliment is is the server page. She was excellent carrying on a conversation. She was attentive to the table. She was awesome to visit with. She is very friendly. I would highly recommend going back there And if you can just request page to be your server if she’s on, you’ll be well taken care of.

This restaurant is so good it’s now our go-to whenever we come to town. Unfortunately we avoided it due to reviews, but there’s always so many cars in the parking lot, we decided to try. And so glad we did, this is one instance where the reviews were WRONG!!! The food is amazing, the atmosphere is perfect and every person that has waited on us has been wonderful! We’ve been in 3 times now and each time we order something different, and have been WOW’d every time. We can’t say enough about this restaurant; we’re so thankful we gave it a try.
Nice menu selections & atmosphere. Great view & service. Food was average... good but not notable. We had Calamari appetizer, game hen, & chicken fried steak. All were average.

Passing through town for business and this place is right on the hill next to the hotels! We got here after dark so went didn’t get the view but the outside seating area must be wonderful at sunset! The prime rib was excellent!

I am not sure what happened to Ernie’s, it used to be amazing and now it is not. We ordered prime rib which has always been superb but this time it was chewy and inedible. The baked potato it came with wasn’t cooked all the way. A server told us they switched where they get their prime ribs from, although I am not convinced this is the problem. I believe it was a manager who came and asked me why I sent my dinner back, I told her prime rib is not supposed to be chewy and my potato was not cooked. She then asked my boyfriend how his dinner was, he said “chewy but I’m hungry.” She then left and didn’t say anything else, I am not sure why she asked she didn’t seem to care at all. I feel like the Ernie’s we loved is no more, the food was terrible and we won’t be back.
