Wow! Deserves the 5 stars.. hidden gem! If you have a few minutes this is a must stop! Loved the baked beans, cornbread is to die for, and meats are awesome! In our group I don't think there was anything we didn't order or try! GREAT FOOD!

Off the beaten path if you're downtown but not too bad. Was a little slow for lunch but steady. Service was good and straightforward. Ordered burnt ends, 2 ribs, sausage with potato salad and beans plus cornbread. Burnt ends were a little too fatty fire my taste. One rib was spot on - meat fell off the bone but still had a little chew to it. The other was dry and needed sauce. The two sides were very good. Cornbread was just right as it didn't fall apart, moist, tasty. Overall, a good place to eat for BBQ.

First time in town and decided to try this BBQ joint. Reviews were great. Website and FB said open 10AM-3PM. Arrived at 9:50 and waited well after opening times. Doors didn't actually open till after I had to leave at 10:30. Too bad I didn't get to taste the food. Web site need updated or staff reliability checked. 😕
