I’ve lived in the McCall area for just shy of five years, and from day one, Mountain Java has been my go-to coffee shop. After trying nearly every other spot in town, I always find myself coming back here - and for all the right reasons.
The baristas provide top-notch service with a smile, and always warmly greet you the moment you walk in. Their training is exemplary, ensuring that every cup of coffee tastes just as perfect as the last. The espresso is smooth, nutty, and bold - never burnt.
Mountain Java continues to be my favorite coffee shop in the area, and I’ll always recommend it to anyone searching for quality coffee and exceptional service.

Cute local spot for some baked goods and coffee. Staff was friendly, but I gave it a 3 for service because I ordered 2 drinks and both were incorrect (missing the syrup for instance). They carry the Stacey Cakes baked goods, so that's always a plus for me.

Spent Christmas with the Fam in McCall and in the way out if McCall stopped at Mountain Java for Coffee & some light breakfast foods to go. We didn’t clarify very well that fact but they were SO accommodating. My hash browns came out in a plate and they took them right back and as per my request made them crisper, and they were the BEST! The latte w/oat milk is well, such good quality of coffee no sugar is required! Loved it. Great service and food. Familiar faces. Clean. Comfy. Delicious.

I love visiting this little shop every time I go to Mccall. Not only is it open earlier than other coffee shops, but it also has a cute atmosphere and selection of local items and art. The drinks are very good, and the prices are very reasonable. I love visiting early in the morning and taking my cup over to the lake to watch the sun rise.
