Great experience although due to staff shortage the timing was off. Had great lakeside view and the King Salmon was outstanding.

The Cutwater on Payette Lake provides a delightful dining experience with breathtaking views of the lake and snow-capped mountains. The service is generally excellent, with a menu that includes delectable dishes like the Eggs Benedict and dry-aged steak. Guests can enjoy great tables right on the lake, whether dining outside or inside when the doors are open. The food and drinks are consistently good, and the summer staff is often delightful. While some customers find the food to be mediocre, they appreciate the beautiful setting and understand that they are paying for the view. One guest had a positive experience with accommodating staff, who went out of their way to modify a dish for an allergy concern. While the atmosphere can be hit or miss, the Cutwater remains a fantastic place to enjoy a drink and a meal while taking in the stunning scenery, with highlights like the bang bang cauliflower and the wagyu burger.
