Jane gives great service for to go or to eat in house. The food is consistent and the drinks are just fine but the real pleasure is the scenery and the beautiful lodge.

Our first time coming to Cutwater. We had a wonderful table by the window to enjoy the sunset on the lake and mountains, even had a deer parade! Our server Ann , was fantastic and our food and drink delicious. We had the Steak Frites, and the Thai Green Curry with Shrimp. Drinks hubby had a perfectly made Manhattan and I had the Huckleberry lemonade. We definitely will be back!

We've eaten here at least a dozen times while staying at the lodge. The food is good generally. But on this occasion my 8 year old ordered the buffalo wings. They were unreasonably spicy. He ate a couple then had to go back to our room to drink some milk. I tried them and agreed. I let our server know about the issue. I think she should have taken this item off our bill. Other than that the service was excellent.
We have eaten at Cutwater in the past because of location by the lake, but have not thought the food was anything special. Our dinner last night totally turned that around. The service was excellent and the food was delicious!!! I had the pan seared trout and would give it a 5! My friend had the pork medallions and said they were lovely (she's from England :) My husband had a hamburger because they are always reliable and said it was great. We will return sooner than later! Keep up the good work!

Stopped by Cutwater on our visit to McCall. It's a nice place with a nice view. We ordered the Thai Green Curry with tofu and the Pan Seared Pork Tenderloin.The curry was delicious, definitely recommend it. The pork tenderloin was good but the saffron risotto was not tasty at all. It might be my taste buds for saffron as it was my first time but it tasted like cheap Mac n cheese powder risotto and left most of it on the plate.Overall I gave it a four Star review as the service could have been a bit better, we waited a while to get our check.

Stopped in for lunch on this cold Sunday in McCall. I really enjoy this place, you get the best view of Payette Lake, the food is great and reasonably priced, and they have a good beer selection. Today's ice cold Hazy's hit the spot and the chicken quesadilla and chicken tortilla soup were absolutely great.

We bought a place in mccall 2 years ago. I have never and I mean never gone to this restaurant and I have never been happy with my meal. This tops it. After ordering takeout they forgot two things (one was a meal for my child’s dinner). The. Checkout the salad I ordered. Pathetic. Hope you saved money by barely putting anything in the salad.

More choices would be nice or change it up more. Pork tenderloin was a little dry - again. May a chicken dish added to the menu. The wine menu is really hurting - cut water used to have a good rounded choice of wines.

Appetizers were very good, main courses had some issues - i think they are trying a little too hard to be “fancy”. Pesto chicken pasta was good with major exception of trendy sweet balsamic reduction all over the top. Pepper sauce with steak was flavorless. Stick to the simple stuff like the burger or bison chili. Staff could use a bit more training as well (please clear dirty dishes when checking in about dessert).
