It’s not that I wouldn’t recommend it, because the food is decent. However, we ordered off their online menu and it is WAY off in pricing. We thought our food would be under $50 and ended up over $90 due to them not changing their menu prices. The lady said “oh! We’ve told the owner and he hasn’t changed it”. I should have insisted I get the online pricing since that was what was advertised to me, or just left the food there and went to another place. It’s not worth the $12 for the kid plate, or $20+ for the salmon shashimi. I will try many other places in McCall before I walk through the Sushi Bar doors again.

I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the poor service I received during my visit to your restaurant. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by the unacceptable behavior of our waitress, I think her name was Michelle.
We requested to be seated indoors because it was chilly outside and we could smell cigarette smoke emanating from the person smoking beneath the balcony. We never saw her again after we were finally seated inside. Some of us had left our drinks on the previous table. It goes without saying that she never brought us a new drink. A different waiter brought us the check and he said the waitress had asked him to bring it to us. Also, the food was mediocre. Never going to this restaurant again. Worst experience I’ve ever had.
The waitress's attitude and behavior were unprofessional and made our dining experience unpleasant. As a paying customer, I expect a certain level of courtesy and respect.
I hope you will take my complaint seriously and address these issues with your staff.

Kid-friendliness: There are no high chairs available but chairs on patio fit car seats and patio gate is safe for toddlers.

We enjoyed our dinner & the sushi was top notch. Our family of 6 enjoyed our dinner & had several rolls as well as some sushimi fusion items. My only knock is that like a lot of restaurants they appear to be bit short on staff & it did take about 1.5 hrs from the time we were seated to the time we left the restaurant (was not an issue for us).
We will continue to support this restaurant & treat it like island time.

C'mon _Man!
Went there today, we had six people with a kid. There's plenty of empty tables, waitress says all the tables are reserved. We are to seat at the patio without a shade if we want. So we left and we went to salmon river brewery instead. Btw, go to Salmon River Brewery their customer service is top notch. 1 hour later those tables on the upper deck of the sushi place remained empty. Such a poor customer service. Oh well.
