My wife and I are customers who frequent the Boise location. On this particular day February 20th we decided to go to the one in meridian after leaving my daughter's house. The waiter the service was good but the food was not good at all I will never go to that location again the general manager did not know how to handle the situation and did not want to refund me as a customer. He clearly saw my account balance on my phone when I showed him the Applebee's transaction. So getting a free meal is not the case. The food there is no good and aside from that the drinks the bartender doesn't know how to mix the drinks. When we're at Boise we always have two drinks each we return the first one we ordered.

Second time going to the Applebee's on Eagle and Franklin, first time my steak was horrific, chopped it up as a bad night, went again last night, not busy at all, walked in and the hostess was nowhere to found, 3 family's waiting to be seated, again not busy at all, hostess comes up front after almost 15 minuets waiting, by this time 2 of the families walked out, when it was finally our time to be seated, we requested to be seated in the bar, all tables except 2 were wide open, she proceeded to tell us she needed to clean a table? she went to the far corner (where the kitchen entrance was) and spent 10 MINUETS cleaning that table (even another family that was waiting commented on how long it took her to clean it) she then walked us to the table, and the table was a MESS, napkins everywhere and food on the chair, again not sure what she did for 10min) we then sat down, and opened our menus, the servers had a game of some sort going on, on who could say "corner" first and the loudest, OMG it was the most annoying thing I have ever witnessed at a restaurant, by time we got up an walked out (within 2 minuets) we heard "corner" 32 times (yes we counted). I am fully aware of servers saying corner, however this was not the normal, this was some sort of game they had, and not to mention.. its doesn't need to be said when you don't have food/drinks, or loud enough for tables to hear. We will never be back, and word of mouth is huge.

Food was mid and obviously microwaved. Would not recommend unless you like lifeless mozzarella sticks and dry/ stringy steak. Server seemed like he hated everything. Go to Chilis instead folks.

Wow!!! Where to start.!?!! 1st. Our server David. Outstanding personality and very cordial. He made my family and I feel like royalty. Started off with appetizer-nachos made to perfection, Every bite had a little of each topping. The big scoop of sour cream/guacamole was the "Cherry on top " Bar:drinks" were top tier very elegant in Taste/Appearance!! Daughter: wonton taco's she's very picky and she devoured them. Wife: indulged in a new dinner bowl. Myself: 2 Rib-eye steak medium rare very juicy and packed with a ton of flavor no A1 sauce needed. Cooked exactly like I asked. What an amazing night and food. Thank you Applebees- Ash, Chris, Kevin you are all such amazing people and definitely go Above & beyond exceeding expectations! Thank you again.
Kid-friendliness: My daughters mind was blown on how amazing the pop rock drink was.
