I was very disappointed at my “vip” experience. First and foremost I found it quite strange that there was no one there to scan my ticket. And although I am of the age to drink I was never carded. The bartender there had no idea what he was doing, even with a cheat-cheat on how to make their specialty drinks he made me the wrong one. When I finally got my drink it was not very good. I am also disappointed in the fact they are not allergy friendly. When I asked about it I was told “we aren’t told much about our menu” they seemed very unsure so I didn’t feel safe to order anything. One of the bartenders was also a cook and was the one that said that. Being aware of allergens in your food is a basic kitchen practice in my experience. Needless to say, I was very hungry during our movie. I had an expectation that I would be able to enjoy a meal and a movie. I did not. A place with this label of a somewhat luxurious experience and atmosphere, I had higher expectations. Lastly, I feel the ticket purchasing is miss leading. When you buy a ticket and select your seat it gives you an impression you will be getting a full lounger chair. You know, something you can kick your feet onto and get comfortable. In reality they are just slightly upgraded average movie theater chairs. That’s was disappointing for someone who had never done VIP before. Not sure I’ll be doing it again honestly.. All in all I’m am pretty disappointed in my experience.
Myself and two of my friends went to see a movie last night. I had never been to the VIP section before.
They were shortstaffed and no one was available to serve anyone, so that was disappointing. It seemed to be very warm in there also.
I love this place at the Village at Meridian. We were at the movie theater and decided to get tickets for the 21+ section. I ordered a burger and fries and my friend ordered the macaroni and cheese balls. Everything was excellent but I forgot to take pictures of the food lol. Probably one of the best burgers I’ve had especially for just $11 with the fries. Our drinks were excellent and really inexpensive. I don’t remember what they were called, the server suggested something and that’s what we got.

We just got done viewing a movie. Halfway through the movie something overheated and the screen turned black. After someone going out to find anybody to fix the problem, they finally came in and said they couldn’t fix the problem and asked us to move to another theater. So we move to another theater. Then it took a while to get the movie going and it was jumping around through the movie and spoiled parts of the ending before backing up about 30 min where we actually ended. So we had to sit and rewatch all of that.. then when the movie ended, nobody came to apologize. In fact, all the employees appeared to be hiding. One of the movie watchers had to knock on a door behind the ticket counter to get somebody to come out and talk with us. They would not refund us… they did however give us tickets for the future. I’m mostly upset that nobody came to apologize. I’ve been to other theaters with MUCH more minor inconveniences and they were waiting at the door to give us free passes as we walked out. This just seemed like they were trying to avoid us. Nobody in the theater was being rude either… but we were however all very annoyed that the movie was spoiled.. the employees behaviors is what would make me not want to come back or recommend this theater. No integrity.
Attractive place with nice outdoor patio. Not much in the way of decent food tho, and wine list just sad
Love the decor. Great bartender. Dislike the plastic cups. Ruins the ambiance. Before COVID hit this was our favorite place in the village. The plastic gives the vibe of a frat party.
Honestly, I wish I could give this place a 5 star but UGHH, I would have ate better food at McDonald’s… I got a cheeseburger, and it was the thinnest patty ever, literally NO SAUCE at all (no ketchup, mustard, mayo… I mean it would of been nice to have anything but plain jane…)The mac and cheese bites were disgusting. Tasted like straight up yeast… The fries were eh. The nachos were actually okay.I don’t know what happened, but you guys used to be really good. Must have gone downhill over the years. :(.I mean we ended up eating everything because it was literally $35… didn’t want to waste my money. But I wasted it anyway on horrible food. Should have gone elsewhere. The only reason why I’m giving a 2 star is because the waiter was very nice. The food was just honestly not good overall.
We never use VIP anymore since we discovered the reclining chairs!
Not as comfy as the Majestic, but cool place.
Menu has completely changed post covid, but still a great time and friendly staff.
