Decided to try this because I love the downtown Boise location. Arrived excited and left feeling disappointed. At surface level, this place comes off hip and modern but ultimately falls flat. The place was filthy, cooks were not wearing hair nets, & no gloves. The utensils, plates, and cups were very dirty. Odd atmosphere. Workers are very rude. Food was mid. The worker wearing a TRUMP hat was the fermented cherry on top of this horrible dining experience. 🙄 Do yourself a favor and travel the extra miles to the downtown location.

Food was nothing to brag about. The gravy on the biscuits wwas good tasting but the biscuits were extremely dry, and the French fries were gross tasting like they been in the freezer for a long time then fast fried in I have no idea what.

My wife and I stopped in unplanned and we are so glad we did!
The food was so delicious. The service was great and quick. I had the best biscuits and gravy and my wife had a super tasty grilled cheese. This is our new go to spot for breakfast and lunch.

My family has been going here for breakfast almost every Saturday for the last several months (its close-ish to our house and my partner likes the biscuits and gravy). This Capri does only one breakfast meal moderately well and that is the biscuits and gravy. If you want anything else, be prepared for a mediocre to terrible breakfast. I can't say anything about the lunch menu but have ordered many of the breakfast items including their specials, so this review is for their breakfast food only.
The first off putting thing I noticed was how they serve the water - they stack the full water cups on top of one another. So the bottom of the cup is inside the other water glass. I've never had a water served to me there that didn't have something floating in it- food or an oil slick.
I finally decided to write this review because after trying pancakes (plain & pumpkin), cinnamon rolls, omelette, chicken fried steak, french toast (plain &black walnut), I realized this isn't a place I want to keep giving money. I say giving because more times than not, I leave with out eating my meal. I never complained to the server and the server never asked why they were clearing untouched food.
I ordered a plain waffle today. What was served to me was a flat, floppy, undercooked, flour tasting disc. I took a single bite and that was it. I did complain today. I simply told him, "it was not a good waffle." His response, "Oh sorry."
Here's hoping your experience is different from mine!

We have wanted to try this place for a while and finally made it in for breakfast. The waiter brought out our waters all stacked on top of eachother. The bottoms of the water cups were in the other persons water. The gentleman with gloves on was spraying down tables andndidnt change his gloves between dropping water off. When our drinks were brought out there was a visable film of gew floating on them and stuck to the rim of the glass. The waiter asked what we would like to order and we said we were leaving. He never asked why he just said, whatever. Its a gross place if you pay attention. Wasnt worth the gamble

My youngest child actually felt compelled to tell the waiter that the food was amazing. So, i officially think we like this place more than others. We came here when we couldn't get a table at joe mammas, and I'm pretty sure we'll be just coming here from now on. Love it!!!

The "famous" biscuits and gravy were pretty disappointing.
Absolutely loved this restaurant! Best biscuits and gravy I have ever had. Definitely going to be coming here more. Found a customer for life!

This is a weekly regular place for my family and I they know us by name we know them by name they know our orders they are amazing people and it's a very family-oriented business and all of the food is amazing all of the time service is outstanding absolutely nothing negative to say about this place...only thing actually is that if you get your food to go they charge you a "phone order charge" which i don't agree with.. include the tip portion in the total instead for the cooks. Nobody else.

Order their signature item, same as the large mural photo on the wall in front of the kitchen window. Imagine loaded baked potato toppings on a biscuit with sausage gravy, 1/2 portion, $8.25, two biscuits $10.75, filling and delicious. If you like Eggs Benedict, I'd suggest you pass. Instead of a house made Hollandaise sauce, you get a thick (don't know is flour based) cheese sauce. It's served with a huge slice of Premium Pitman ham, my slice must have been heated up on the griddle with oil. $11.55 for a half portion. $14.99 for two eggs. Eggs are cooked a little firm if you are expecting runny. Hit and miss the times I've been there with service, if busy it's hard to get an order in or coffee refilled. Side of hashbrowns, extra crispy, big portion, just browned on the top side, $4.99.
