Chicago Connection - El Dorado

Wow. Just wow. This place is horrible! They got our address wrong(mother in laws address) Then the delivery driver dropped it off at a completely different house. Than he went to my Mother in laws to tell them he delivered it to the wrong house and to call and get it re delivered. Manager Brain was no help and did nothing for us. Except refund our order we wasted 2 hours waiting for. Good news Flying Pie and Idaho Pizza company have better pizza and customer service. Avoid this location at all costs!

We waited for over 2 hours to have our pizza delivered. Called in at 1 hour and they said it would be here shortly. Called back at 2 hours and they said they had rush orders and were very busy. The pizza was cold when it arrived. We live less than 6 miles from this location. Had we known it would take 2 hours we would have went and picked it up.

If I could leave a negative star I would! Our pizza was delivered over an hour late. Called the manager and because we ordered on line the order can’t be cancelled or discounts offered. I called 30 minutes before it was delivered. They fully admitted the pizza was made and waiting for delivery but another 30 minutes before it might get to us. This has happened to me twice now with this same location. Shame on me obviously. And sad because I love their pizza. If you want a timely dinner at a premium price I highly suggest going somewhere else!

I ordered a special for $25. It was an extra pepperoni pizza, large and a 2-liter for $25. I did carry out and placed it for 6:45-7pm pickup because it was 6pm and I was doing uber but needed to feed my family! The food was super fresh and ready at 6:45pm. It looked absolutely amazing. I have ordered here a total of 8 times in the last 5 months and have not been disappointed once. I have always lived by Chicago connection being the absolutely best pizza ever due to there sauce being thick and cheese being thick, all pizzas being a deep dish, it’s amazing! It’s mine and my families favorite pizza 🍕 the woman at the front counter was super nice and friendly. I had already paid online so she just got my pizza and I got my two liter and skedaddled. This Chicago connection isn’t ever busy when I go in so there wasn’t a wait but the pizza is 100% worth it!

We called in a pickup order, but somehow half of it didn’t get placed. We ordered the special that included a pizza, a 2-liter, and breadsticks—but only received the pizza. On top of that, we had to pay extra for the breadsticks that were supposed to be included. Something definitely wasn’t right with the order.

Pastas did not show up by 7:14 and after waiting another 15 min, I called numerous times over a 15 minute span and the phone was off the hook. I had to call another store, who then called the manager at El dorado in order to find out where our food was… she was told they “ran out of dough”. The only thing that needed dough in our meal was the breadsticks. Seriously?! You couldn’t have notified us if that was the case? Requested a refund after waiting 1.5 hours… btw we live maybe 7 minutes away. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!!
