12 Best Donuts near Meridian

“I have been stalking this donut joint for the last few weeks. They do a great job posting photos on Facebook of all their goodies. They always look fresh and amazing. It was mandatory that I made my way to Meridian and grab a some of these donuts! I couldn't handle just looking at the photos anymore. I needed to try them.

I had a couple good reasons to stop by today. I usually get my grandma a sweet treat when I visit her and with this joint is right down the street from her, I had to stop in. I also wanted to try their donuts and I always grab a couple apple fritters for my in laws when I get some for my husband.

Walking in, this donut shop is so cute! I love how comfortable and cozy the vibe is. I was instantly greeted by a beautiful gal behind the donut case. She went over all the donuts iand pricing. Everything looked so good! It was hard to narrow down my decision to a few donuts. I started off with 4 apple fritters. Can I tell you these fritters are massive! They are crazy huge! I got 3 of them in one box for my in laws and it probably weighed a good 3 to 4 pounds. These fritters are no joke! In the other box was my husband's apple fritter and a sugar twist for my Grandma. I also snagged am Oreo and Reeses donuts to try later with my husband. The sweet gal also threw on a few donut holes in the box for me. I'm excited to try every donut in the box.

I did have all the donut holes while I was driving, I couldn't resist! They were perfectly glazed and soft. I also made my grandma share a bite of her sugar twist with me. It was also very soft and nicely coated with sugar. I can't wait to try the other two donuts tonight when my husband gets home. And I hope he saved me a couple bites of the apple fritter I dropped off to him. I need to know how good it tastes!

I'm happy I got to stop in and grab some goodies from this donut shop. The gal working was so sweet! We did have a nice conversation about another local bakery that we both went to and agreed that their customer service was horrible. Good to know we were both on the same page.

Scottie's donuts are legit good! I wish they had a shop in my neck of the woods. I guess it's good they don't, I would be there everyday. I hope this local donut shop sells out everyday! Staff is great. Venue is cute and their product is fantastic! I look forward to coming back soon.“

“My favorite donut place. They always have the classics and then some fun different flavors that change so there’s always something new. Especially love the cake donuts and the old fashioned and the fritter. The apple fritter is huge and crispy and awesome. They sometimes have savory donuts too, if that’s your thing. I’ve also had the ice cream a couple times and it’s good ice cream, scoops are generous. The staff are always nice. The guy there who I’m pretty sure is the owner is a really friendly guy. Sorry no pics, my kids and I ate them too fast.“

“Used to come here back in the day when they were in the same small building with the potato company. That was back in 2015. I got to watch this company flourish and go to their new location. I've tried all sorts of famous donuts in my travels but I always remember this place as being my favorite. I haven't been back since maybe 2017 since I'm on the East Coast now but hope to come back one day! No donut has compared to Guru. I still remember the one girl looked at me funny when I ordered and used my last name and had to ask to repeat it 😂. Staff were great then and hope all are well!“
