Used to go here once every couple months and really really liked it. We stopped in this week after not having been here for several months and wow has it gone downhill. Just this one visit will likely make us not return again. Every single dish, plate, and glass we touched was sticky and full of old dirty food. There was a long giant hair in our chips. The chicken was mediocre at best. Tamales were flavorless. The side dishes of rice and beans attached came in a serving as big as maybe for a kids meal, for $22 for the meal! The worst part was the entire place smelled like poop or sewage. I don't think we will return, sadly. We had JUST been telling someone else that they should stop in and try it ... and now we regret it, lol.

I called about an order and got hung up on, I called again and was lied to. Whoever picked up the phone was very short and kind came off as rude. I’ve been to the other locations and they were always kind and made accommodations, this was my first encounter with the Meridian Location. With that being said, El Tenampa’s food has always tasted great, but the way the situation was handled gave me the ick.

Everyone liked their food. I thought my steak burrito was a little bit too salty. Margaritas were good, $10 each. It was my birthday so I got a free fried ice cream that was beautifully presented and a shot of tequila, that was a surprise. They sang happy birthday and made me wear a sombrero. I can see us coming back to this one. The waitress made a mistake on my food, I asked for no sour cream and it came with sour cream but she was willing to take it back but I didn't bother and just scraped it off. I could see parking being tricky if the area is busy.

When the check came imagine my surprise when it was 19.55. They be scamming people. ?Place is beautiful and service was good but I’d rather they be upfront about their prices.

Awesome, authentic Mexican food! Great service, great food! 5 star experience all around. Highly recommended. Really feels like a Mexican restaurant inside. Will definitely be back!

So unprofessional I went to pick up a DoorDash order and the doors were locked tried again and nothing went in the car and saw a man standing inside next to the window and door so went to try again and he didn’t open the door or anything and knew I was trying it closes at 9:30 it was 9 he was acting like nothing just on his phone then playing around with papers this was 1/8/24 at 9:00

The food was so mediocre, its not even up for debate. I got the enchiladas which weren't terrible. But if you think about getting the queso with "chorizo" be ready for a huge disappointment. It literally just melted cheese with a couple chunks of tomatoes. No chorizo to be found. If I could get a refund and just go to goddamn chipotle, I would.
