Great service food was excellent and there were many Basque related choices. I especially like the fish being available both grilled and baked at the same time.

I've been to other best restaurants that had delicious food. This one was just average.

Honest opinion, if you go, order appetizers and dessert only. We ordered two apps and two desserts and they were incredibly delicious!!!! We don’t regret a thing!!!
Unfortunately, the main entrees were not it. We got a ribeye, I ordered it rare. It came overcooked and flavorless. My husband ordered the lamb (I don’t recall what it was called but it was one of the last lamb options on the menu) it was cooked well. However, the flavor again wasn’t there. Both meats came out with the same orange color.
I’m giving four stars because we will absolutely be back again. The apps and desserts were the best we have had! We ordered the mushrooms, brussel sprouts, seasonal dessert and the bread pudding. Our server was so incredibly kind and on it! It was pretty busy for a Thursday and he was one of two servers. He didn’t let the busyness show though! Ten stars for him!
Oh the clam chowder was also very rich and satisfying! It had a small heat to it.

Such a fun experience for dinner...a great wine list and plenty of entree choices. Delicious soup and the green apple bread pudding is fabulous! We both would not order our entee again (leg of lamb with yellow rice and pepper sides...), but would definitely retun to try others!

Epi's served a wonderful meal. Kaden, our server, was very gracious and polite. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. You feel as if you are a guest in someone's home. You leave with a full belly and lots of thank yous from the staff! Best calamari ever. Recommend a reservation. Pricy, but well worth it. We will not hesitate to go again. We planned this outing as part of our trip to Boise and it did not disappoint.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience. We had a large group and we’re greeted immediately for our reservation with kind arms. Our server was so wonderful for our large group and especially reaching out to our young child.
We ordered the lamb shank, it was absolutely phenomenal. We also ordered a bunch of appetizers, including the mushrooms and they were amazing!!
Highly recommend! Can’t wait to try again when we visit Boise.

Absolutely amazing, I just wished we would’ve gone here sooner! I got halibut, and it was incredible, he got the ribeye and liked it, I wasn’t a huge fan of the sauce but he enjoyed it. The soup, salad, and bread was also terrific. We actually specifically went for their seasonal basque cheesecake, and it was worth it! The service actually stood out more than anything though, we were treated like special guests the moment we walked through the door, absolutely exceptional. I can’t say enough good things about this place! We will definitely be coming back

At the price point of Bacquet's, Chandlers, Percys, Barbacoa etc... I cant recommend. At this price point other resturants provide exceptionally higher experiences and technical dishes that will blow your mind.
I get why people like here. The service and plating is similar to what you'd experience in a diner. Its not fancy. Its like something you'd get at your 90 year old grandma's house when she didnt want to break out the good China. When I got the check I literally looked up to see if there was a cashier up front Id have to bring it to.
The atmosphere is loud, in a house turned into a resturant that makes you feel like you are at a family reunion.
While I realize my review isnt favorable. This spot isnt for me. The money didnt really matter at the end of the day. It was only $200 for three people.
However, for that price point I expect more than what I recieved.
Take this review with a grain of salt. If home made food from your cousin is the vibe you are going for. And you don't mind spending $50-75 a head. Have at it.
