My wife and I stopped by the place on a whim and were really happy with the experience. When I lived in Santa Cruz there was a nice those but since I moved I haven’t found one till recently.

The variety was amazing. All kinds of tea, even herbals. There’s a wall where people can smell a jar containing single servings to get an idea.

Jim was great to work with. Very knowledgeable and courteous. I can tell he enjoys what he does.

I tried a glass of the Russian caravan and the moon magic. I enjoyed both. My wife had a fruity almond one which was good.

Can’t wait to come back soon!

Friendly owner with plenty of space to sit and enjoy your tea. Selection on the right can be smelled to determine which tea you may like.

Tea noob here, I've been wanting to transition from drinking tea from a bag to loose leaf for years but never made the effort and didn't realize how easy it could be. The help and information i received made my this "journey" so simple. I could have easily been in and out of the store with what i "needed" to brew my own loose leaf tea in minutes. But the experience became more about what flavors i enjoy, what i will actually drink and brew consistently, and the variety of teas could have been overwhelming but a simple walkthrough and figurative hand-holding to help me understand better what i wanted even though i could not articulate minutes prior.
The patience and shared knowledge provided was fantastic. No snobbery whatsoever, such a wonderful experience! Thank you!

Love the wall of tea! You can smell the teas before you buy. You can even buy a cuppa (or pot) to try before purchasing the tea.
The recommendations have been eye opening and pretty spot on fitting my tastes.
There are teas covering differing tastes and budgets.

All cups and pots prepared in the shop are fixed "western" style. For oolong and green tea lovers, only the first steeping is used. I was informed this is for hygiene reasons which I am all for in a public shop. The shop teas are stored properly, so if you decide to purchase the tea, you are still able to do multiple steepings at home.

The owner was super friendly, knowledgeable, and the tea selection is fantastic. Whether you're accustomed to gung-fu, taking it easy Grandpa style, or just finally stepping away from the garbage the tea bag industry sells, this place will carry something for you.

Great selection of teas. Unexpectedly closed at times.

Nasty lady owns this place. Unkind and very opinionated.......feels very judged based on the way you like your tea.

They list hours, state that they are open and when you show up they're closed, "online only".

I was so excited to go buy more teas at the shop, and I checked both Google and the website to make sure of the open times (since they seem to be changing alot lately). When I showed up, the blinds were down, and the sign said they were closed. I know they have good teas here, so I'm giving a 2 star review. Please make sure to update your website when your store hours change.

There are so many teas to choose from. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I love the "tea wall" where you can smell the teas to help you make your choices ? Great selection of tea accessories too.
