We rarely eat at restaurants anymore because of the increased prices, but we went to celebrate a special day last night. We arrived at the Draper location (133 E. 12300 S.) around 6:00 PM. We were seated almost immediately (a PLUS)! Things went downhill from there. Our waitress (Kierra), couldn't answer any of our questions, was unfriendly and didn't listen to our requests. I asked for my side (potato salad) to come in a to go container and for an extra side of spicy sauce, and that didn't happen. When our food arrived (from another employee), I took a bite of my pulled pork sandwich and gagged. I found a baseball sized clump of fat on it. We waited and waited to see our waitress again to remedy the situation. I finally just removed the fat, put it on a napkin, and ate the remaining part of my sandwich. She passed by our table several times without checking on us. She clearly noticed the pile of yuck on the edge of our table. Whe she finally returned, she placed our check on the table as she walked by with no words. We were so disappointed in our experience and the quality of food. This has been our go to place for many celebrations, but this was unbelievable!
Management truly brutal humans. I cannot imagine spending a single dollar at an establishment with such mediocre food and heinous character ppl running the place.
A luau in the deepest snow we've had since 2017?? Thankfully, it was held inside and we had Mimi Gerosin, Catering Manager, on our side. I contacted Mimi at the height of Goodwood's catering season in December to request a reservation for our January Christmas party. A luau sounded great in September!Mimi guided us through the whole process and with her many years of experience, made it seamless and easy. Incredibly, our food was delivered right on time despite the snowstorm and everything was perfect.Important tip: Please listen to Mimi's recommendations for food amounts! We ordered waaaay too much despite her gentle hints to the contrary. She's definitely the expert here.
Would absolutely recommend for wedding or other catering events. I had so many guests out of town that loved the dinner options, taste, quality and freshness for my wedding. Goodwood is 10/10 for catering. Mimi is great to work with! She’s fun, personable and she knows her stuff!!
Arriving in Meridian we wanted to get food to go nearby out hotel. Reviews were good so we ordered the Apple, Strawberry, pecan, spinach salad with Raspberry dressing. It was wonderful. Also ordered Pulled Pork with fries. Was expecting a sandwich, we probably didn’t read menu carefully enough, as the pulled pork came in a baggy with sauce. It was delicious!!! Next time we will dine in!!!
I was tasked with setting up catering for a company event and was a bit directionless until I spoke with Mimi. Mimi had great patience and was incredibly helpful in determining quantity and variety. She communicated well and even collaborated to match our color scheme. The food was yummy, our servers, Jessie and Stacie (spelling?) were outstanding, and rounded out the overall wonderful experience. Great value, great eats, and definitely great staff!

Very nice lunch out with friends to celebrate a friend’s birthday! Food was good, and I would recommend this restaurant to others, and definitely go back again!
We have been dining at Goodwoods since it opened. We have always enjoyed ourselves…not so today. Our waitress was incapable of smiling or showing any enthusiasm. She made no attempt to engage with us in any way. She came to our table, with a pitcher of ice tea in her hand, yet she did not offer to refill our diminishing glasses of tea….our glasses were never refilled. She did not ask if we wanted any dessert—which we did. Essentially, she cost you money. The quality of your food has seriously declined. Our salads were substantially smaller and created with lower quality ingredients. My Prime Rib French Dip was terrible. The entire sandwich and au jus was flavorless. I elected not to finish it. Our visit was so disappointing, and the food so unappetizing that we are not inclined to return. I share this with you so that you can make some changes.
Great choice for good BBQ

Yummy! With BBQ it can go really good or really bad. Fortunately, this was really good. Good price, great tasting and friendly service. The strawberry lemonade sooooo gooood!!!
This used to be our favorite restaurant in Boise and had fabulous beef ribs. Last night my beef ribs were well overcooked, dry and tasteless. My potato skin was like leather. The managers used to walk the floor asking everyone how their meal was. I would always compliment them. Not last night! The manager showed up only after I complained to the waitress about my ribs. It was obvious he was new. He explained my ribs had been cooked earlier and had spent several hours under the heat lamps. No wonder they were charred! The ribs should never have been served! He gave us a 10 percent discount, which should have been more like 50 percent after admitting their mistake. If the owners don't step up their management of this restaurant, they will drive this once fine restaurant, into the ground! Based on this meal, I may never return. Disappointing!
great b.b. ribs! the coleslaw was a great compliment to the bbq sauce.
I had the 3 meat plate with ribs, sausage & pulled pork, loaded baked potato, & creamed corn & a garden salad with blue cheese dressing. Arnold Palmer to drink. The salad is overpriced& is awkward to eat, perhaps because it is served on such a small plate. Some of the iceberg lettuce had browning on them. Without the blue cheese dressing, which was good, the salad was tasteless. The cornbread muffin had flecks of a green pepper, but not enough to lend any flavor; it also had sugar which I do not like in cornbread or muffins. The ribs, without sauce, were pretty tasteless. The sauce was much too sweet for me. Sausage was ok. The creamed corn had potatoes & too much jalapeno & black pepper for me, also too much sugar. This is not Southern creamed corn. I took a couple of bites & left the rest Arnold Palmer was weak and not flavorful. Overall the food was poor. Service was lackadaisical. I would not recommend this restaurant & will never go there again.
Great place for nice foods and cocktails,
