If you’re looking for mediocre service and food, then you found the right place. If there’s anything wrong with your order, don’t expect their highly untrained manager to revolve it. She has no idea what customer service is and felt no need to make the experience any better.

Until about a year ago we greatly enjoyed eating at Grimaldi's once or twice a week. The pizza was great and the staff very great. There was a change in the crust. It has been rubber like. What happened something changed. We occasionally stop in and one time the crust was almost back to great. We miss eating at this restaurant could you determine what you changed and correct the crust situation.

Wow! The food was absolutely delicious!! The portions were very large. Tad sad they were out of a few things we wanted, however, they explained how everything was made fresh daily, so we understood. Or server, Brooks, was new but did a great job. We appreciated his attention to detail and making sure our orders and our checks were correct. He was friendly and knowledgeable. We had the Bruschetta Trio appetizer, a custom calzone, and the Brooklyn Bridge Pizza. Mmmm! We took home a, piece of their seasonal Carmel Apple Cheesecake, and are looking forward to trying it later this evening. We will definitely be back!

This was hands down the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had. From start to finish, the staff acted unprofessional, inattentive, and flat-out disrespectful.
When we arrived on Friday, 8/29 around 8:30pm, the host didn’t even look at us for several minutes—just stared at the computer, no greeting, no smile, nothing. When she finally spoke, all she said with a blank face was, “Just two?” She then disappeared for nearly 10 minutes before coming back and telling us to “just sit at the bar.”
At the bar, things somehow got worse. We sat there for 20 minutes—timed on my phone—without being acknowledged. No water, no greeting, nothing. I even asked the host if someone was going to help us, but she was too busy glued to her phone to care.
When the bartender finally came over, the first words out of her mouth were not “Hi, how are you” or any form of greeting. Instead, it was a cold “IDs please.” That was her opener after 20 minutes of being ignored. I’ve been a bartender for over a decade, and this approach is the definition of terrible service.
I told her I didn’t have a physical ID on me, and instead of handling the situation professionally, she immediately barked: “I can’t serve you, I’ll lose my job.” Not once, not twice—she repeated this phrase over and over like a broken record. No empathy, no tact, no effort to find a solution. Just excuses.
At that point, I told her to stop repeating herself and to focus on what she could do. But that didn’t matter, because once we moved to a table, she ignored us again for another 10 minutes. We eventually left because we were literally abandoned by the staff.
The restaurant was NOT busy. This was not a matter of being short-staffed—it was a matter of pure neglect, zero communication, and employees who clearly do not care about their jobs. Pull your cameras between 8:30–9:15pm that night if you doubt this.
This was disgusting and unacceptable. My company was considering using this place for catering, but after this disaster we went with Chicago Fire instead. This staff—especially the bartender—desperately needs training on customer service, conflict resolution, and basic professionalism.
An absolute joke of an experience. Never again.

Great place. We got drinks 🍹 and the margarita pizza with a side of their hot honey 🍯 sauce. Delicious 😋
We ate outside on the patio which sits next to the big water fountain at the Village in meridian. So we had a great dinner and a mini water show with music 🎶
Great atmosphere and I would definitely recommend it.

Grimaldi’s has quietly become a staple in our household and an end of week treat that never disappoints. Though we’ve yet to dine in, our takeout experiences have been consistently satisfying, thanks to their expertly crafted Neapolitan style pizzas. The crust strikes that elusive balance: thin and crisp around the edges, with just enough chew to make each bite linger. It’s the kind of texture that feels intentional, not incidental.
Our go to trio is the Prosciutto Arugula, Aloha, and Brooklyn. This offers a spectrum of flavor that keeps things interesting. The Prosciutto Arugula is a standout, with its peppery greens and delicate saltiness layered over a subtle base. The Aloha brings a sweet savory punch without veering into cliche, and the Brooklyn is a bold, satisfying classic that feels like a nod to East Coast tradition. Each pizza arrives hot, fresh, and beautifully balanced.
Even though we haven’t sat down for a meal inside, the space itself is inviting. The ambiance is upscale without being pretentious. It has warm lighting, tasteful decor, and a volume level that never overwhelms. It’s the kind of place you’d feel comfortable lingering in, whether on a date night or a casual outing.
That said, the takeout pickup process could use a little finesse. You often find yourself standing in a high traffic zone, dodging foot traffic while waiting for the bartender to become available. It’s a minor inconvenience, and certainly not enough to deter us, but it’s worth noting if you’re planning to grab and go. Still, the staff is friendly, and the wait is rarely more than a few minutes.
Grimaldi’s has earned its place in our weekly rhythm. The quality is consistent, the flavors are memorable, and the overall experience feels like part of the charm. Whether we eventually dine in or keep enjoying it from the comfort of home, it’s a spot we’ll keep coming back to.

10/10! Pizza dough is made fresh here. I left to rise a day. Ingredients are higher quality, meaning they do not upset my stomach or give me heartburn as most Pizza does. I was pretty impressed for how much actually filling the ouzza was and I only needed two slices in order to be full compared to other pizza joints. Our server was funny and relatable. The bartender was good.Seems like the manager Tony is doing something right

In my personal opinion $27 for a 12-in gluten-free pizza is absolutely ridiculous! $2 extra for 3 leaves of Basil is a rip off! However our server, Savannah was excellent!

Our waitress had every table we had to get our own plates after we got our pizza and had to hunt her down for the bill. She was busy but she was the only one. Forgot our ranch long waits for refills. Not very busy but bad service

Excellent!
After losing my mother and having to find a perfect dress for her funeral one afternoon I went to the village.
I decided to catch some lunch at grimaldi's.
To my pleasant surprise, I was introduced to the kindest server... Christina.
She did not have to give me her time, but she did. And, what an amazing individual she really is.
The food was terrific! The service was amazing! That truly made my day and what a great experience.
We just don't get that in the food industry that much these days....just higher prices, less food and quality and unhappy people.
It's truly was a joy!
Thank you Christina and those that chose to hire this very kind individual
