I sat for about 10 minutes before getting helped, but when we did, everything was 12/10. My wife and I split a Caesar salad and a 16-inch pizza. The atmosphere and staff were great. We got the pumpkin spice cheesecake for dessert! 10/12/2024

Grimaldi's remains one of the top pizza chains in the country. I've been to quite a few stores and have visited this Boise location three times now, never been disappointed. Better than any other NY-style pizza I've tried in the last decade. Service is always great; Samantha did a great job at the bar. Very polite and professional.

Suggestion: try a red sauce pizza with spicy chicken sausage, onions, green peppers, and jalapenos. Life-changing stuff, you'll never go back if you like it spicy!

Pro tip: They re-stoke their coal oven every day from 3-4pm (used to be 4-5pm) so you can't get a pizza cooked during that time, but all other menu options are available.

Delicious, though it gave me a bellyache. I have no idea why. Service was quite slow but the food partly made up for it. 3.5 stars

Went and had lunch yesterday. No one was doing anything besides our new server Nate. Nate was completely understaffed as his fellow piers sat and watched the new guy struggle. Piss poor management. Will never go back

Do NOT come here! My husband and I decided to give it a try since the wait time at Yard House was long, and it was a big mistake! We were seated immediately but it took about 15 minutes to get our order, then about an hour and 15 to get our actual food, which was a pizza and a calzone. The pizza itself was not good at all — it didn’t look like there was any marinara sauce on it and the crust was thin! The part that annoys me is that we did not order any drinks and the bill was almost $90! Also, servers (who all looked like they were in high school) were clearly disoriented as they were pacing around the restaurant complaining. So basically 2 hours of our night went to waiting on pizza that wasn’t even good. Just do yourself a favor and don’t come here!

Tried Grimaldi’s for the first time while visiting my parents in Meridian. Food and service were both awesome! The location is amazing too! It’s next to the water fountains in the Village shopping area. We picked up a plain cheese and an onion, green pepper, and mushroom pizza. Both delicious! Will be back next time I visit from Denver.

Great pizza. Was there for a birthday. Service was not great at all. Was there for 2 1/2 hours and didn’t get a single drink refill the entire time. Ordered a surprise dessert for the birthday boy and the server came and brought the bill and announces they forgot to “comp” the dessert in the bill right in front of the birthday boy. That ruined the little surprise since they hadn’t brought out the dessert yet.

Food was good, service isn’t worth a revisit.

Absolutely horrific experience. Placed an online order at 2:30pm which had the earliest pickup time of 3:30. When I showed up no one acknowledged me until the girl at check in finally looked up from her phone after nearly 2 minutes of standing there. When she went to see where my mobile order was she was told that the order would not be ready until 4:15 pm because I guess they aren’t open 3-4 because they need to re-coal the ovens!? (Why isn’t this notated for pickup times) when I asked for a refund as this pizza was for a team meeting starting at 4:00 I was given a complete run around and that I’d have to do that online. I was told it’s an oven issue first and than a new computer system issue to not get my refund. This was an absolutely chaotic experience and will never visit or recommend this location again.

It looks like a fancy restaurant, and one can sit there in a cool spot- IF you don't mind screaming kids. But, the pizza was overcooked, making a cardboardy, flavorless crust, and dry, chewy top. It's also quite expensive for a pizza. Guido's on Chinden or Flat Bread- local places- are both MUCH better NY style pizza eateries, with higher quality ingredients, for less! And you don't have to wait 2-3 hours on a Friday or Saturday night. Also, I always forget that this is NOT an Italian restaurant; it is just a pizza place with alcohol.

Dietary restrictions: Pretty good gluten-free crust- but pricey

Kid-friendliness: Almost too kid friendly. Haha. Felt a little like hanging out at Chuckecheese.

Gluten-free pizza dough is almost raw and therefore indigestible.

Grimaldis Pizza is phenomenal! The pizza is made perfectly every time, thank you to the amazing cooks. However, their service is some of the worst service I have experienced. The only good service you will get from this place is from the guy who works behind the bar. Everyone (especially the females) are very rude & not attentive. Sadly, this kind of service makes me never want to eat there again despite their pizza being amazing.
