Happy Teriyaki - Overland Rd(Meridian)

If it’s your only option, I guess it will do. Definitely not. My favorite teriyaki I’ve ever had flavors were definitely not there. maybe my standards are a little too high since I grew up in Seattle eating good teriyaki on a regular basis. This was an attempt at teriyaki, but I would not say that it checked many of the boxes for me.

My teenagers picked up dinner tonight because I was too sick to cook. They said that the poor kid at the register hadn’t been trained & didn’t know how to ring up their orders. They both ended up with something completely different than what they asked for. They didn’t notice until they were already home. My daughter wouldn’t even eat hers. Please train your employees before you allow them to help customers.

This is a fabulous place with great employees but it is SOOOO hot inside. I feel bad for the employees.

Waited 40 minutes for my food just for them to tell me they were out of a certain food service desk was super nice but bad experience waiting 40 minutes

I can definitely say that this is the best Happy Teriyaki spot. Food is absolutely amazing and the portions (omg) are fabulous.
Service is top notch but now with the bubble tea 🧋 it just got better.
Had the watermelon with blueberry pops.

My DoorDasher was late picking up my food, but the restaurant went above and beyond by remaking my order so it would be hot and fresh. Total pros.

Ordered from here with delivery via door dash and door dash driver gave my order to a random person. Door dash driver and company would not remedy the situation. Called Happy Teriyaki and they graciously remade my food for me to come pick up! Thanks for going above and beyond even when it was not your mistake! And the food was amazing also.

BBQ chicken was not bad but not the best we had. Some was grilled and some was not. The rice was clumpy and hard. I think better save it for fried rice. We were hungry so we ate it all.
