But it’s not just the fries. The sandwiches are consistently great, the portions are solid, and everything tastes fresh. This location by my house has become my regular go-to because it’s dependable: fast, friendly service and the kind of comfort-food deli vibe that never disappoints.
I grew up around Hugo’s, so there’s definitely some nostalgia baked in—but even without that, this place earns the 5 stars. If you’re on the fence, just go… and don’t skip the fries.

Wow! I ordered some box lunches for a meeting. We have used several places in the past and wanted to try somewhere new. None of them can compare to Hugo's! The sandwiches are DELI! They are what you would expect from a great deli! They were good size, the flavor was stellar, lots of toppings, there was a good size bag of chips, and a delicious chocolate chip cookie. I did get a couple of veggie sandwiches. By far the BEST veggie sandwich I have probably ever had!
Todd and crew did a fantastic job! We will definitely use Hugo's again and again!

Average deli sandwiches for artisan resort restaurant prices! $12 Sandwish? $4.50 cup tomatoe soup? $2.20 for 6 fries? Two people, 2 sandwichs, 1 fry, 1 cup soup, NO drinks = $30 not worth the price. Down the street $12 gets you all you can eat salad bar and unlimited pizza and free soda refills. Won't be back.
This is the best deli in the Eagle/Meridian area, without question. Consistently. Great sandwichs, clean, friendly staff.. The things you often expect in a deli, but very rarely find.. Some typical choices for a deli and some unique ones as well.. All of them well made. Make the trip, you'll see for yourself and then you'll tell your friends..this place is a gem

Wonderful sandwiches! Their new Christoph sandwich is incredible, and almost addicting. If it sticks around, I know my new favorite! Their fries with spicy ketchup are also incredible. I used to get the turkey bacon avocado which I highly recommend, and my partner normally either gets a Reuben or a wartman, both of which are a hit!

Friendly staff. Quick. Sandwiches are fantastic. All of them. And they don't skimp on the toppings either. Great value. I think their sandwiches are cheaper than Subway which is absolutely mindblowing. Not a big fan of their fries but that's just an opinion. Wish they had some other sides: Tots, rings or something.
