The ambience of the restaurant reminded me of an outback steakhouse. The service was excellent, but the food was less to be desired. I came to learn from the server that the fillet mignon steak had been discontinued and replaced with an end cap steak; two entirely different cuts of meat that cannot be compared. My ribeye steak felt that it had been cooked on a griddle and not grilled. There were absolutely no grill marks or taste indication that the ribeye had been cooked over an open flame. Three of the steaks ordered were not cooked as requested, and the baked potatoes were large, but not thoroughly cooked. One of my relatives ended up having to send her potato back. I believe for the amount of money you're paying at this restaurant, the food would be better. I don't think that I will be returning.

It took an hour to get our food. The value was not acceptable for the time it took and the quality of food and portion size.

Will go again. I would recommend Jakers to family and friends. The staff was kind and professional.

We always enjoy Jakers. Our only very minor complaint was they were out of the French onion soup (out for the summer). The service was good, the food was excellent and the noise level was low enough that we could easily communicate.

Really disappointed this time. Jakers has always been a favorite but, they have removed our favorite dishes from the menu, tempura shrimp and filet mignon. Who takes filet mignon off their menu??? The Caesar salad, which was always yummy was dry with hardly any dressing. The potato skins were dry like they had been sitting in a warmer for an hour. The sautéed zucchini was just limp and unappetizing. So disappointed. The only highlight was the service. Hailey was amazing!

If you can mix 40 fancy cocktails and not get a straight pour of vodka rocks you need training. No stir stick and 8 small cubes is sad. Place is boring and menu dated- living on past laurels. Nothing is fresh and vibrant. The floor around our table was filthy with some trash and dropped silverware, salt and pepper shakers sticky. Server seemed bored and never asked if we wanted a second round. For the last time- someone please clear dirty dishes off tables! Getting a check with the mess still there is lazy and disgusting!

14 oz ribeye was perfect in all ways. I will come back here before I go to Texas Roadhouse.

My review may be an isolated case but I thought i would take the time to write it because I want the restaurant to improve where they can. This was St-Patrick's Day. 1. This is a delegated service model restaurant. The wait staff is supported by less experienced people, in this case two layers of delegation. The waiter(ess), server and buss(boy/girl). This sort of arrangement leads to surprises and misunderstandings if it isn't well managed. 2 The food was obviously reheated because it was prepared ahead of time for the rush. The top layer of corned beef was dry, the under parts were delicious and enjoyable. My plate was prepared ahead of time. 3. Our order was rushed so, we had not finished our soup when the meal came up. The server just left the plates on the edge of the table. The waitress was surprised to see that. and just left the plates there. 4. The onion soup was lukewarm, not heated enough. Clearly, the server shouldn't have picked up the bowls and should have returned it to the kitchen before serving what was visibly not cooked enough. 5. I don't know about you but I don't like to see tats or displays of personal information on restaurant staff. I expect it at McDonald's but not at a restaurant where you can easily drop 100 bucks on dinner. All in all, the food was good, the restaurant was clean and I will come back. This was an unusual day, a Monday and the staff at the restaurant may not have been at their best that day.

overpriced for what we received. Very dated restaurant, food was just ok. The service was good however

Burger much better then the last time and only $10 with fries this time. ONLY AMERICAN CHEESE at this price. Choice of cheese doesn't cost much more if anything and would be better for customer. When does my 100 points for open table get posted? It shouldn't take any time. Most place post it right away.

We had a great experience at Joker's in Meridian! We went for happy hour with another couple, and the service was great, the place was clean. The drinks were great and the food was amaaaaazing!! We got the Calamari, potato skins, coconut shrimp, and the sweet and spicy chicken strips to share with a group of 4 of us and it was perfect. Great portion sizes and food was fresh and delivered hot!! 10/0 recommend

Jakers Bar and Grill was an unexpected treasure! We enjoyed our entire visit! Our meals were delicious! We started with the Tender Steak Bites & Mushrooms, then each had a delicious salad… both were excellent! I enjoyed the Fish & Chips and my fiancée enjoyed the Coconut Shrimp with Garlic Mashed Potatoes. The Irish beer was most excellent! Our server, Ms. Sherry, did a wonderful job meeting our needs! We will definitely have to make another visit!

Delicious food and great service. The cap steak is one of the best steaks in the USA. Treat yourself with Lunch or dinner. Great salad bar too! (Bread and rolls are amazing too)
