The food portions have gone down while the price keeps going up. My wife an I have gone to a Jakers, for our anniversary, for several years. I think we will stop. Why put on the "Open Table" app that it is your anniversary when none of the staff even acknowledge? The food is still good, but not worth the price.

The food is superb for a bar & grill place. The service is excellent with very nice welcome, waiters, and bartenders. Most important...the bathrooms (at least the mens) are very clean, well kept, with sinks, dispenser and faucets in working order. Nice premium hand drying towels. I've been to Jaker's weekdays and weekends, my review for their quality and service is par. Like any place on Fridays and weekend dinners, expect waiting time for tables, just go to the bar for those days if you are without children. Good parking also

Cindy took awesome care of us! The flautas are great and the Dragon Tails are nice too. They're bigger than you'd expect. This was my second visit and I am very happy.

Service was efficient and friendly. Staff was attentive and interactions were jovial. Food was excellent and included the ahi, finger steaks, prime rib french dip, coconut shrimp, soups, and salads. Prices were typical of fine dining. Enjoy!

The ambience of the restaurant reminded me of an outback steakhouse. The service was excellent, but the food was less to be desired. I came to learn from the server that the fillet mignon steak had been discontinued and replaced with an end cap steak; two entirely different cuts of meat that cannot be compared. My ribeye steak felt that it had been cooked on a griddle and not grilled. There were absolutely no grill marks or taste indication that the ribeye had been cooked over an open flame. Three of the steaks ordered were not cooked as requested, and the baked potatoes were large, but not thoroughly cooked. One of my relatives ended up having to send her potato back. I believe for the amount of money you're paying at this restaurant, the food would be better. I don't think that I will be returning.

As someone that has eaten in the Boise Jakers restaurant since it opened, and Meridian since it opened, and I’ve never left a review because for the most part the service has been good and the food has been good at a reasonable price (however price is the last of my considerations) . I kept my mouth shut when they dropped the sourdough rolls and only offered what they called Scones. I kept my mouth shut when they dropped Pepsi and switched to Coke, However, because they’ve discontinued the filet mignon. So after 28 years, I will no longer be a customer. I will switch my 6-9 yearly visits to the Stage Coach, Lock Stock & Barrel, or for special occasions Chandlers.

My daughter has a dairy allergy and everything here has butter. When I was asking my server about dairy free options, he was annoyed and not helpful. Nothing on the kids menu is dairy free. When I asked him what was dairy free he said “white rice”. I asked about protein and again he was annoyed. I ended up getting just a plain burger patty with fries and obviously the kitchen was annoyed as well as the burger was burnt to a crisp and inedible. My prime rib dip was okay, very overpriced for what it was. We will not be returning.
