They sat us right up against the fountain and by the time we left my back was soaked. The food was excellent though. They just needed to work on the seating arrangements

I have lived in Meridian since 2010 and last night was the first time we tried Louie's. It could not have been any better. I am a long time Italian cook and only share my Lasagna and Meatball recipe's with my good friends. I ordered eggplant parmesan and my extremely picky girlfriend ordered the balsamic chicken. After her first bite she she turned to me and said this is great, you have to try this. She ate one chicken breast and all the potatoes and vegetables which never happens. My eggplant was cooked perfectly, crisp around the edges not soggy, and not bitter. The marinara sauce was excellent. Absolutely a fantastic, amazing dinner! This was such a pleasant surprise we can't wait for our next visit. Feel stupid for not trying Louie's years ago.Don't change a thing!Jack Wolfson

Excellent Italian food. The service was great. Prices are fair. The chocolate cake is as they say to die for.

My wife is Sicilian and used to her mom and grandma's authentic old world cooking. For her to walk in the front door of Louie's and catch the aromas and then comment on how it smells like grandma's house -- well, that says it all. She was very impressed with her rigatoni dinner with a meatball, drenched in that wonderful sauce. I had the chicken Marsala, which was far better than any chicken Marsala I've EVER consumed (sorry dear). It was so smooth and dreamy, oh my. We both had the minestrone beforehand, which led us both to believe that the main dishes were going to be spectacular -- and we were right. The freshly toasted garlic bread was perfectly soft in the middle but light and crispy on the outside, making for the perfect companion for everything. We'll be back! ?

Meatball Calzone and Bruschetta were amazing, prices are great too. Old 1800s western bar gives it a great atmosphere.

We used to go here all the time, over several years. However they have become inconsistent and the quality and service has declined considerably. It has become very hit or miss and is very disappointing. The last few times our pizza was burned and we had to send it back. Today, our waiter gave us huge attitude when we sent back the burned pizza. Unfortunately we will not be returning due to the mismanagement and poor service and quality.
