The music is so loud it's hard to have a conversation over dinner. The waiter had no idea what whiskey was available. There's no list. Hard to buy if there's a wine list and no whiskey list at a "wine and whiskey" business. Food was very good. Cocktails excellent. When I asked for a table for three she rolled her eyes and walked away. So, I sat down. She came back and said "are you coming?" Geez, maybe a polite "follow me" would've been nice.

First time here tonight, and we enjoyed it very much. The food was good, and the charcuterie board for 2 was more than enough. The salmon flatbread was great. For two people with 2 glasses of wine it's not unreasonable pricing. Oddly the salmon dish was spicy, which didn't get stated on the menu, but delicious. Our server Kim was the ONLY ONE we could even find on the floor. She was busting her butt getting everyone taken care of, but it didn't seem overly fair to her. She was polite and attentive. There were 3 bartenders, but nary a soul at the front desk or anywhere else. The environment is great, though the random Sasquatch decor threw us off. It looks half like an upscale lounge and half like a PNW brewery. Would go again, but certainly they need to hire more staff.

The staff at Maddie's provided a phenomenal experience for a large party, 180+ attendees. They made there planning process simple, took excellent care of everyone, and the food and drinks were fantastic. I highly recommend Maddie's!!

Our good friend Kevin told us about Maddie's, so we made a point to drop in. We ordered a yummy tapas plate and I had a gorgeous spiked hot chocolate drink, while hubby had a craft beer. Their wine list goes on page after page!

First time there last night..arrived about 5:30 and were seated immediately by a very nice young lady.. didn’t get her name,.. no wait which was nice.. our server Kristen was amazing and very attentive and fun! Food was good.. flat bread, brisket sandwich, salad, shrimp caprice, and yummy garlic fries. Cocktails and beers all delicious as well.. after eating we went outside so the guys could smoke..nice covered area for that. There are several separate areas for hanging out. Lots of fire features to sit around. Even the bathrooms are nice. Prices reasonable. Parking somewhat limited.. overall great vibe. Only one downfall.. the girl at the hostess desk, not the one we encountered when we arrived, with the big earrings chased us off immediately when we sat on the couch near the hostess station.. we were just checking out the comfort..she told us it was being held for someone..but this place doesn’t take reservations.. ? and we couldn’t sit there.. we told her we were just checking it out and we got up and left. she was very aggressive and even when we left later in the evening, she had a sour look on her face.. opposite of every other staff member there.. not sure what’s up with that. Can’t wait to go back and enjoy the outside areas they have.

Came in on a Saturday night, about 7:30, to listen to the band that was playing. Establishment was busy however, found a table that was unoccupied. As soon as we sat down, my party and I, there were two of us, were approached by a staff member, whom I assumed was the hostess. She let us know that the table we were sitting at was being held for someone else. ( this establishment does not take reservations ) I let her know that since no one was sitting there I figured the table was open. The staff member then leaned across the table and let us know that we needed to leave the table. I asked her if there was another table or some where else to sit and she let me know that there was not and that they had a 90 minute waiting list. I said, 90 minutes for two people? She said yes. She then told me that no one sits in this establishment without going through her.I was shocked at her aggressiveness and her rude approach. We kindly got up from the table and told her that I would be going elsewhere.I will never go back to this establishment. I will not recommend this establishment. The way we were spoken to and treated was out of line and disrespectful. I would recommend that this establishment, especially if they would like to bring in different crowds of people due to the live music they offer, to give better education and people skills to those who greet, serve and talk to those who choose this establishments over others.

I really liked this place. The tapas were very tasty, and the microbrews were a fair price. Two tapas and two beers ran $38 and change. Shrimp caprese was very tasty, and the tenderloin crostinis were delicious. We didn't sample any wine or whiskey, but the cocktails being served around us looked excellent. Love the interior. The sports bar in the back looked casual and fun. Service was friendly and accommodating. There are two outdoor patios that look like they would be great in the summer. Definitely returning in a couple months when we can sit outside by the water feature.

My husband and I went on a lunch date to try Maddie's. We were pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. We decided to hang out in the sports bar area. Our bartender/server Karie was amazing. She was well versed in her alcohol and her recommendations for both food and drink exceeded our expectations. Having never been to Maddie's before, we had no idea what to expect. After our experience today, Maddie's will now be our go to choice for spirits and dining in Meridian. Nothing else in the area compares to the food, alcohol, atmosphere, conversation and service!
