First experience here with a pick up order on a slow Sunday evening. Steak fajitas were tough and not hot, super burrito also not hot and lacking in flavor. Other two entrees were good. Paid for an order of guacamole we didn’t receive, so I guess that was on us for not checking.

My impression of this restaurant is that it's for tourists, because once a local eats here, they're never coming back. The food is overpriced and not good. And by overpriced, I mean it. It's way too expensive, like $20 for a vegetarian item for lunch (because their lunch menu has zero veggie options, you are forced to order off the dinner menu). I had the spinach enchilada and it wasn't good. There was no sauce on it, the pinto beans were undercooked, the spanish rice was bland, and the enchilada itself was plain. Also, they charge $3 if you want more corn chips.

Instead of Mi Casa, keep driving down Eagle road to Ustick and go to Pueblo Linda. Those guys are cheap and awesome, you won't regret it.

First time eating at Mi Casa, not sure why I have never eaten there before but the food was great and the service was even better. They have a bar and beer on tap. Definitely going back.

Wheelchair accessibility: No issues getting into the building and there are plenty of tables for a wheelchair user.

Clean, comfortable, family friendly. We stayed at a local hotel for the night. Since we were eating late I had the chicken, avocado, corn tortillas strip soup. It was a perfect late dinner choice! Took a piece of flan to go.

Updated 2024. I developed shellfish allergy, I cannot have majority of their plates because they use same pans to cook & don't have time to thoroughly clean them to make sure no cross contact occurs (2 waitresses have told me this). I can't eat their chips because to my surprise they use same fryer used to fry shrimp. I went end of July. They charged me twice (found out afterwards)- I've called 4 times and same lady tells me the owner has to reverse the charge... In Sept now and still HAVE NOT gotten a call back.

6 years ago** Hands down, best Mexican place in Meridian. Food is delicious & the horchata is the best... Taste real, has a great thickness to it, not like the powder one.. Service is above 5 star! I would highly recommend Mi Casa! Since mo ing her from California ive tried many Mex restaurants and this is the best by far!! Try the "Camarones ala Crema" or the "Molcajete"... Cant go wrong with either or.

Amazing food for sure. Huge portions, fair prices. I personally prefer music to not be so loud when I'm trying to have a conversation with someone, and even if just dining alone. Posole would be a welcome addition to the menu. The menudo has no hominy, just meat, and that's not my preference either. Better than every chain "Mexican" restaurant in the treasure valley.

Great food, good service. Only room for improvement is drinks could be better and not such light pours for the prices they charge. Bottomline we've come back for the food but drink elsewhere now

I came here a few weeks ago with my parents. I got the carnitas tacos with beans and rice. The beans were okay and didn't have the best flavor. I added salt and they got better. The rice was good I liked it.

The tortillas were good and didn't fall apart. The meat is good however it had a buttery taste. It was too overpowering I couldn't finish them. My dad however enjoyed them.

If you grew up in a state that has a strong Mexican culture, you'll quickly discover this restaurant is awful. Those who haven't grown up eating Mexican food just don't know.

This place literally charges $1.00 per salsa refill. Not one single Mexican restaurant anywhere in Idaho or California ever charges for a salsa refill, let alone $1.00!!? Their salsa is not even that good. It's super watered down, like a soup and barelystayson the chip. Attached is a photo of the salsa container. Probably 2" in diameter. Casa Ole always never has a problem with refills. If you want a soft drink, only offered from a bottle. No, we won't be coming back as there's so many choices for Mexican food at a higher quality.
