This place is excellent. Stopped in on our way to Portland and well worth it. Kids and adults all loved it. Try lots of variety.

I’ve eaten at the Boise Tango’s once and I was hooked; however, since I’ve eaten at the Meridian one and every time there’s hardly any filling inside. I’m going back to eating at the Boise one. Makes me feel kind of ripped off; not a great feeling to leave with your customer.

I went in and ordered mine & my sons to go. I got the cheeseburger one and he got half cheeseburger & half the pizza when I got home I cut into them and they we’re basically empty… pretty disappointing after reading good reviews and now I’m out $14 and it was a 30 min drive…

Been coming to Tangos for a long time. This location tried to open just when Covid hit. It took a few years to get open. When they did it was take out only, but nice to have a location closer to home. Flavors and options are a plenty! The have tons of savory and sweet options. Feels like family when you are there.

Very friendly staff! Delicious food! I tried the 'New Carne Asada' Empanada. I will be returning to try others!

For atmosphere, the restaurant is clean. They do play a MTV derivative on the TVs, which showed some non-family content.

I've generally been a big fan of Tangos. Their food is delicious, and I especially love the Gardel chicken empanada! The service has usually been good too. However, today's experience was not. We placed an order that included both chicken & dessert empanadas, but unfortunately, one of the dessert empanadas was missing when we got home. When we called, the person on the phone was very apologetic, which we appreciated. However, upon returning to the restaurant, which is about a 45 minute drive to & from, to pick up the missing empanada, the lady at the counter (name on the receipt said Luisa) was quite rude & made us feel like we were being accused of lying. This was incredibly disappointing, especially since we were also placing an additional order at the time. While the food is usually great, this interaction has made me reconsider future visits. Which is a shame because this used to be a restaurant that I recommended.

This place has great fried Empanadas, the desert and meat ones are awesome. Each one is usually a little under $5, and I eat 2 or 3. My favorites are the Tingo and El Puerco!

More room in the dining room at this location than the Boise location. Nice decor down the hallway toward the bathroom, too.

1st time trying Tango's. I read all the reviews and tried the Gaucho and Chimiasada. Both were great! Loved the crinkle fries.
I also read the reviews about customer service
My review of this is very different. We did arrive at 6:40 and they closed at 7. When our order was ready, it was in a to go bag. I told the young lady we are eating here if it is possible to get napkins. She tossed some on the counter. I asked for silverware and got some tossed to me as well. On our way out, we asked how to not get it to go but to enjoy sitting at a table. She said because of it being 6:40, we were given our food to go. She also said we are trying to close early.
I understand when you close your closed but 20 minutes. I get wanting to close early, but with business hours, don't those matter?

The food was worth trying again, but I will obviously have to go much earlier.

that pork and potato empanada is solid, wont win any awards. But it's tasty and just enough food, plus the green sauce goes perfect with it. Also why are the frys here so perfect, seriously. The french fries here are perfectly crispy and tender and salted well. Why does an empanada place have the second best fries in the area?
