The staff made it very easy for me. They handled it all efficiently.

I don't know how they could get less than 5 *s. We are from out of state and walked over for dinner near our hotel. An Irish Band was playing, people cheering and clapping. Great drinks, great food, great staff. We had sooo much fun. You can't beat a good neighborhood Irish Pub! Went back our 2nd night and brought local family. They treated us so well. Mazy is amazing. We will be back next time we visit Meridian. If you live there or visit, it's a must visit

We had bangers and mash and the shepherds pie. They were both delicious.

I hope they try and do black pudding here and there.

Hi, Chris! I was the guy sitting to your immediate left, drinking the Half and Half, and then the Guinness. I remember how you ate all your meal...and then told the bartender it was good. Weird, huh?

As for MY meal (I finished my lamb stew shortly before you came in), it was great, just like the service and atmosphere! I did have occasion to talk with the staff about using their microwave. Isn't it interesting that they don't have one in their kitchen?

Came at 815 which I get is close to quitting time for the “kitchen”. The bartender gave the order to a group of teenagers who were grouped together by their kitchen which consists of a microwave. They were irritated at having to go through the effort of making the food.
As expected from a microwave. The meat came out hot and the potatoes luke warm. The soda bread hard as a rock. Meat was fine, but a super small portion. Potatoes tasted sour.
Overall. Bartender was nice in personality but nothing else would bring me back into this place.

So i read that this place had a great Reuben sandwich so i was like i love Reubens so ill have a go at it. Well we went at like 5 pm. We were the only ones there eating. And 2 men at the bar.
So i ordered the Reuben. The wife got Mac and Cheese suggested by the waitress. We only had to wait like 30 minutes. A little excessive if you ask me.
So the Reuben with 2 pickle slices and a few potato chips is $17 something. And ill just say save your money. It came out and my expectations we blown to pieces. I use to get Reubens at the Ram and they were huge and delicious. And like 15 bucks. This sandwich was small. The bread was like so hard and crusty it was hard to eat. So to claim it was the best in the valley i will have to disagree with.

Enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and the service. It wasn’t my absolute favorite, and the portions were sorta small for what you pay, though it did feel pretty high quality. Got the Shepards pie, lamb soup, and corned beef Mac n cheese. I personally didn’t care for the Mac n cheese but my partner really liked it. We enjoyed our meal, and the woman serving us was polite and did a good job. I’d recommend, especially for fun occasions or when the mood strikes for some Irish-based food.

Based on how busy it was the food seemed to take a long time to come out but their happy, cheerful service more than made up for it!

Place is great. Staff is nice. Beer is good and the corned beef and cabbage is absolutely killer!

The food was great. The corned beef on the Rueben sandwich just melts in your mouth. Some of the best corned beef I’ve ever had. The soda bread was great, too. Service was great. I went for lunch, so was quiet and relaxing when I went. Had a couple of drinks, price is reasonable. I’m from out of state, I will definitely go back again when I’m in the area

I have been wanting to try this place since the first time I saw it loving a good shepherds pie. First time went in with my son for dinner and wait staff was so concerned with serving and chatting with the drinkers that after 30 minutes of waiting we left for some place else.

Second try kitchen was closed when I arrived at 530 and was told it would be open at 6 so I waited til 6 still really wanting to try the shepherds pie asked if the kitchen was open and was told yes and was brought a menu and said I wanted the Shepard pie server left came back again after serving everyone in the restraint another round of drinks and asked if I was ready again I said shepherds pie.

Once ordered it did come in a reasonable time and it was ok I would order it again the portion was good but it was definitely seasoned with a lot of rosemary and salt and the lamb and I’m far from a lamb expert but it was a bit chewy

A kind of place that I can check off my to do list but probably won’t be back

Awesome vibe. Jamie is so very kind, feels like a pub in West Cork

Beautiful Irish pub, very comfortable and welcoming with great selection of draft beers and authentic Irish food menu. Really enjoyed talking with the owner & staff, very nice people. Will definitely go back here!

Owner was very disrespectful, when we complained about the food taking too long. The owner lacks customer service, food was mediocre at best. Not sure how long it takes for a Reuben sandwich, but it was an hour before it was placed in front of us. When the owner accosted us because we were not happy, we decided to leave. I would never recommend this place to anybody.
