Thomas Cuisine (TC) markets themselves as offering superior food services and management. However, the actual facts don't live up to their claims. The first and foremost fact is that they are a FOR-PROFIT business. They claim they will provide superior quality meals and reduce costs. Our experience at our facility is just the opposite. The quality of the meals have gotten worse because they purchase less than superior quality ingredients. They also reduce costs by reducing staff hours and expecting remaining staff to pick up the slack. The prayer of most of the residents is that management will NOT renew their contract. Additionally, two other facilities in the area are complaining of the same problems.
The mission of providing REAL food is truly inspiring and something we should all stand behind. I admire how Thomas Cuisine is leading the charge and transforming people's health, one meal at a time.
The Company is a great Company. However. It's too bad that Clovis site Management doesn't know how to pay theyre employees. RENTS ARE HIGH as it is in California and the supervisors are denying double time. On double shifts these employees are doing. Over time and causing major hardship on loyal Employees. I won't say any names but Ashley Anthony and Christian need to be audited, and investigated, Sorry but it's not fair that managers get paid for clearly Not doing they job. Why are they getting paid. Several ppl relocated to other cities behind Clovis CA site management. I feel bad for the patients when these good ppl leave. And soon will report to labor board too if they have to.
Poor quality in senior apt living dining!
I worked with Thomas Cuisine via my employer and they were an excellent food service partner for all our catering and cafe needs. Aside from daily cafe service and multiple station offerings (salad bar, sandwich bar, hot meals, grill food), they regularly provided catering services for meetings. Everything from breakfast/coffee spreads, boxed lunch options to full service buffets and hot meal offerings. The director, April, always prioritized quality and customer service to make our events awesome - from the 10 person business meeting to our site holiday celebration meal feeding over 1400 people. Would definitely recommend!
Great company to work for! Upper management is supportive and places value on the people. Encourages creativity and fosters a positive work culture.
The tuna poke bowl was very good at the hospital dining hall.
TCM is a fantastic company & offer superior service. We are so lucky to have the best breakfast, lunch, & catering service in the Downtown area. Amy & her team run a tight ship & create a friendly & inviting environment. What truly makes them special is their willingness to take feedback & their desire to meet our needs. Simplot is so lucky to have the as a partner & a part of the family!
Kind workers and fast service
The food at school is hit or miss. Unfortunately it is 90% miss 10% hit. I can't comprehend the amount of work that goes into providing a balance lunch for a thousand people, but it just disappoints. The people who prepare and serve the food are hospitable and I personally appreciate their hard work. I just wish they provided more food on some instances. If you run of out chicken fried steaks one time, please bring more next time.

Terrible. I work for a company in Utah who uses Thomas Cuisine for their corporate dining services. The management of these kitchens are awful. Their employees seem to have no semblance of what it takes to properly cook, prepare, or serve food to their customers. The food quality is usually not good. They use old meat by disguising it into things like quesadillas or soup. They are constantly botching orders. I find myself waiting for up to 10 minutes or more waiting for someone to help me at the counter when making a purchase although they're well aware of my presence. They become hostile when we simply ask for certain items that may or may not be on the menu. They're very territorial when it comes to tater tots for some reason. Many of their employees have bad attitudes which have indications of collective disgruntlement. They seem to employ people with ill-favored backgrounds or with little to no experience... and it shows, painfully. For any corporate entity reading this review, I would highly suggest seeking corporate dining services elsewhere. Complaints to the management team are not handled in a proactive or positive way or are often ignored. As for the Thomas Cuisine corporate folks there in Meridian, I would also highly suggest delving deep into correcting these issues and enhance your recruitment strategies for management and culinary talent.
Food is mediocre at best. At worst it's given people food poisoning. On Saturdays they don't staff the kitchen properly leading to very long wait times. (Today it took 26 minutes to get a breakfast skillet out.) People here only have 15 minutes for break. So getting food this late is awful!
Company very unprofessional over hire a person in need and decided to fire them in Text message and for no reason after 3 weeks of working
Great company to work with!
Their entire business revolves around being "real food" organic, healthy, not processed but despite the claim this couldn't be further from the truth. Everything that my facility received was frozen saturated with fats, low quality, and lacked any real nutrients. Making this all just propaganda. Trying to contact management is impossible. They don't take constructive criticism. They aren't open to new ideas and they don't want to discuss any existing problems.
