Happy 2025. First day of the year and seats are full. There’s a line practically out the door. And for a good reason. This place is wonderful. First time visitor here! My breakfast was perfectly portioned. But food aside, the atmosphere and the attentiveness of the staff, despite being very busy, was comforting, accommodating, and pleasant. Even though they are running around constantly, they are positive, upbeat, and kind. The patrons are kind and understanding as well. Which speaks volumes in this industry. I will definitely be back for another visit! Thank you!

We just heard of Tipsy chef and wanted to give it a try this week. Overall, we enjoyed it, the food was good, the service was great, and it will be in our breakfast spot rotation.

The chicken fried steak is my go-to at all breakfast places, and it was good. The CFS was perfect and crispy, the gravy was different than anywhere else I have tried because there was a ton of flavor to it and not a typical country gravy flavor, so if you use too much it will be the only part you taste. I figured out that if I used about half the typical amount it was a perfect ratio or steak to gravy and really enjoyed it.

The pork belly egg benedict was very good. The eggs were cooked perfect, which is very rare for most places in the area, and the flavors were great.

Cinnamon roll French toast I was the most concerned with before ordering since i didn't know what to expenct, but it was great. It was balanced well, so it wasn't overpowering sweet like many are which made it much more enjoyable and tasted amazing.

The only critique I have is we both ordered crispy hashbrowns, and what we both received IMO would just barely qualify as a normal amount of doneness for typical hashbrowns.

First time coming in, I heard it was good food. I ordered the burger and it was ok… but my spouse ordered the omelet and got a piece of the cheese paper cooked inside it. My mom ordered Crapes and they came cold, which is odd as I’ve never heard of cold crapes, and was sad they didn’t disclose this or show it to be served cold on the menu. I am hoping it was just a bad day for the cook but I don’t think I’ll be returning.

Response to owner: I see your comment but I have the original comment made in my email inbox and it seems they are very different. The attempt to correct the meal was to re-cook it, which was appreciated but we had already waiting more than 30-45 minutes for it. I’ve worked food service and when the customers food is that wrong or undigestible due to it being paper, food should be comp.

I sat up at the bar in this cramped, little place and wasn't even acknowledged in the 10 minutes I waited.

Such a wonderful and charming restaurant. The chef and staff are super friendly. The food is out of this world. Their Salmon Benedict is to die for! Make sure you have a mimosa with it - they are worth every penny. Definitely an A+ for breakfast, brunch or lunch. You will not leave hungry!

I heard about this restaurant on a half-price Friday or sweet deals type of situation. Where you pay $25 but you get double. Before I purchased, I looked up the reviews. They were a little mixed but had some great ones so I decided to go for it. I am a teacher, and I should’ve looked more closely at their hours. I cannot come in the mornings and do not get off before they close at two, so I would’ve had to do a weekend which are normally pretty busy for me. This weekend I thought oh my goodness I should go to the Tipsy Chef, because teachers have the week off. So I got out my coupons and noticed that they expired on Saturday, November 23. I did two stars because I know and totally own that I should’ve paid attention and tried to get in there sooner.

So I called this morning, Monday, and asked if I could possibly still come in today and the person who answered the phone said absolutely not. The coupon is expired even though it was only two days and that the owner would not allow that to happen. I understand that things expire… Like milk! But I don’t understand the rationale of not allowing an interested first time customer to use a coupon that was only two days expired, to come and experience your restaurant. I probably would’ve been a huge proponent and told all my friends had it been great. I’m sure the restaurant must’ve got some of the money that I paid in, the coupon place probably took some of it. I just don’t think that’s a good business decision. Even months later, you would probably still want someone to come in and check it out, especially because you took their money. 🤷‍♀️

Tipsy Chef catered an even I was at. The pork was super dry with ZERO flavor. About half was through the line they ran out of mashed potatoes and carrots. Essentially had super dry, tasteless pork and a bread stick!

My friend and I visited Tipsy Chef Cafe to try the mimosas. I was pleasantly surprised that the environment, food, and service were great as well. I recommend the mimosas, Cuban sandwich, and fries.
Note: Cuban is not available everyday call ahead.
