My husband and I went for our 16th anniversary. We were greeted with a glass of delicious Prosecco. I chose the red wine flight along with the filet mignon. My husband chose the game plate with quail, bison, and I believe it was wild boar. He also got a cup of their clam chowder. Every dish was excellent. The service was wonderful, and we even ordered 2 bowls of chowder to go, along with a bottle of wine. I had been to this place once before, and that was several years ago. It was delicious then, too. I don't know why it took me so long to return!
Our service was excellent. We even got to meet the chef, Carlos. Everyone was so personable. I'm deaf in one ear, yet I was still able to hear my daughter. It was her birthday, and they gave her cheesecake on the house. I had the bread pudding, and the only thing I would complain about is that it needed a larger scoop of ice cream on top. Oh, and get the gorgonzola mashed potatoes, and the French onion soup!
First time to this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised! Atmosphere was great as we sat outside! They had live music that fit the restaurant! Food was great as well! Only hiccup was the that our appetizers took a long time to get, after we finally received them everything else fell into place! Definitely worth going back to sample other dishes!
An absolutely wonderful evening on the patio- every did ordered was prepared well and delicious! The music outside was the perfect compliment to a great night! Thank you Vintage 61-so good to meet Michael as well.
Vine 61 has rapidly become one of our favorite restaurants in the Treasure Valley. Their consistent quality of food and level of culinary craft makes for a fantastic dinner every time we go there. Our meal has been hot every time, accurately cooked as ordered, and is delicious every time. On the nights when the restaurant is full, it can get a little loud, but it is easy to overlook an exchange for the quality of food and experience. Additionally, this is one of the few restaurant environments where you are encouraged to fellowship and enjoy long discussions rather than rushing you out the door. The owners visit you to ensure everything was on point and to just talk life with you because they genuinely care. Needless to say, we love this place!
Super bummed that tonight's anniversary dinner was a bust. We've heard so many good things too. It was slow and mistimed. Flight took a hot minute to get to the table, glass of wine got to us at the mid/end of dinner, 3 pieces of shrimp for $10, and a rubber band in the broccolini. We took dessert to go. We requested it heated and no ice cream since I can't have dairy and it was TO GO...buuuut they put a scoop of ice cream in container anyway that we didn't see until we were gone. So dessert was bread pudding soup that I could not even eat🤦♀️😩
Arrived at 9 and had the place mostly to ourselves. Lila was very interesting and entertaining. The chef, Carlos, spun tales and entranced us with bison filet and sea bass - superb! Can’t wait to go back.

Food was good and had a good presentation. However, I ordered a dessert that came with a fresh flower that had a bug in it. The bug quickly ran across my plate dragging the fruit juice along with it across my plate. The owner came over after a waitress frantically flagged her down. The owner just knocked the bug off the table and kinda thought it was funny and kept saying its because the flowers are fresh from a local farm. I have never been at any restaurant that wouldn't have taken the plate and remade it, if a bug was on it. But, she just walked away. I did eat it, as no other would be made, but avoided where the bug had been. I half expected at least a little discount on our check , but no. It was pretty unprofessional for a higher end place.

First time visiting Vintage ‘61 & my husband & I had such a lovely time! Looks very humble & inconspicuous from the outside, but it was beautifully decorated & charming once you step inside this historic Meridian home. We sat outside in the “backyard” it was perfection with the shade from mature trees & umbrellas.
The service was fast & attentive. We ordered the rib eye & scallops, both items were fantastic. We met the chef Carlos outside while he was firing up some pizzas & he shared more about the restaurant & his overall vision. So impressed with his dedication to fresh & seasonal ingredients!
Definitely our new date night spot 😍 Can’t wait to come back!

Best dining experience we enjoyed in Idaho! Watermelon salad was unique and delicious. Tuna entree was exceptional and the generous portion of swordfish was highlighted by the tasty caper sauce. I’m still dreaming of the tasty featured Carmenere from Chile. The knowledgeable, friendly owner behind the bar treated all guests like family. Have referred this place to other travelers several times and will definitely visit when in the area again!

Excellent wine bar/restaurant! Great place for date night. Food was outstanding and the service (Tiffany) spectacular!!! Highly recommended!
We love this local spot opens early at 4 PM. Went on a Tuesday and they have pizza and wine pairing. We just had the awesome jumbo shrimp cocktail. Good selection of wine and cocktails. Service is always great and friendly.
Friendly service. Varied menu. French onion soup had a rich broth, plenty of cheese. Tuna done to a perfect medium rare. Casual atmosphere
One of our favorite restaurants. Food, service, ambiance and drinks are all excellent, and we love to have live music on the patio on weekends
