I originally saw Bobby Alexander Rapacon Datingaling review a while back on Facebooks “Boise food finds” group about Wei’s Cantonese and had to try it….and oh my gosh ??? it was SO DANG GOOD!! I got the special chow rice noodle along with the Crab Rangoon’s. I live in Nampa and know that it’s more of a “ghost kitchen” so I was nervous the food quality wouldn’t be as great. I ordered through Grubhub and the food got here about 30/45 minutes after the driver picked up the order, and an hour total from the time I placed the order.. But the food was hot and I didn’t feel the quality lacked at all. Please give them a try!!

Tried out Wei’s for the first time and it is definitely worth the visit. The amount of food you get is incredible for the price. Spring rolls and house made sauces are a lot better than your typical Chinese restaurant. Definitely recommend to visit, we will be back for sure!

We previously ordered from Wei’s and it was delicious. The second time When Uber Eats cancelled my order and would not return my money Wei’s stepped up and gave me all my money back even though they lost $30 to Uber. I will always order directly from them and never go through Uber again. Thank you Wei’s!

Great food. Super nice people. I did not realize it was pickup only but I quickly placed an online order, and in a very, very short period they had my food ready. We'll definitely be ordering again.

I don't even care about anything else here but they have the BEST crab rangoons in the entire treasure valley. So good, so much filling and crab. Nothing else scratches the itch when I'm craving these.

Saw a "buy one get one" offer on ubereats for their egg bao. I've been CRAVING bao and ordered immediately with the shrimp fried rice.

Bao was fluffy and warm. Egg fried rice was also fluffy and SO FRESH and brimming with tiny shrimps. I have no point of reference for Cantonese cooking, but I'll definitely be back ♡♡

I'm just surprised there's not more reviews. This food is SO GOOD.

I ordered something from Wei's Cantonese. They have a listing on Uber Eats. I'm not sure if they do Doordash. I just wanna try something Asian from a place I haven't ordered yet, and I chose this one.

The serving size for all the three items I ordered feels like they're at least 25% bigger than the usual serving size portions you get from Chinese takeouts. That alone created a good impression since their pricing is competitive with other Asian restaurants.
There is something DECEPTIVELY good with the way the meals were cooked.

The Mongolian Beef I think is the best Mongolian Beef I've tasted yet. At least here in Idaho. Before this one, I think Gouang Zhou has the best version but since that restaurant is now closed, I think this one is the clear winner.

Well, actually, even if Gouang Zhou did not close, I still think I'd still prefer Wei's version.

The Mongolian Beef has a soup. That soup is great. The sauce is thick (not liquidy) and has a very nuanced taste. My hunch is oyster sauce but I'm not a cook.

In any case, any Asian cook who knows how to use oyster sauce is a tier above your normal Asian cook. The Mongolian Beef could have gotten away with a simple soy sauce but the cook went the extra mile with it.

Same thing can be said with the noodles and the fried rice. They may tend to look very generic, but I can easily tell that the person who cooked them has legit skills.

I think the product listings could have benefitted from a more professional looking photos, because the picture may tell you that the items are mediocre, but as of now, where things stand, Wei's Cantonese is a contender for the best Chinese place I've tried in Idaho. And this is coming from someone who has tried Wok Fusion, Red Pavillion, and Yen Ching.

The food feels like you've visited an Asian family dinner and it just so happened that the family cook is really really that great. Maybe there's no intention to make the serving look restaurant-like, but it doesn't matter. The food is just that great.

Real impressed with this place. Pulled the food out of the delivery bag and was blown away by how heavy each entre was. Then I tasted the food and was further blown away. Definitely 5 stars
