Wife and I came for a quick stop on our honeymoon. Long story short it took up the rest of our evening. We ended up potting more plants after the initial terrariums we built because we were enjoying ourselves THAT much. The owner (wish I could remember names better) was very involved where she needed to be (told my wife exactly what was was per friendly and HOW per friendly and WHY) and very hands off where it was deserved (we had three more adult beverages!) I'm without words. What an amazing experience. We will be bringing every person we know here to share this local adventure.

I recently spent an afternoon at Wood & Root, and it was an absolute blast! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a creative night out. We started with a few drinks from their impressive selection – the cocktails were delicious and really set the tone for a fun and relaxing afternoon.
The highlight of the night was getting hands-on with some amazing DIY projects. I made a beautiful terrarium that now sits proudly in my home, adding a touch of nature to my space. The staff were incredibly helpful, providing all the materials and guidance needed to create something unique and personal.
As if that wasn’t enough, we also got to paint Halloween door signs. It was so much fun tapping into my creative side, and the end result was a festive decoration that I can’t wait to hang up! The vibe was laid-back and friendly, with everyone sharing tips and enjoying the process.
Wood & Root is not just a place to get crafty; it’s a place to unwind, socialize, and unleash your creativity. Whether you’re with friends or flying solo, you’ll leave with something special and memories to match. I can’t recommend it enough for a unique and enjoyable night out!

Love this beautiful bar! The drinks are amazing and it is 21 of age which is a PLUS! Head over to plant , create crafts which makes it the best place to go to with friends! Also they have very cute miniature figures to put in your terrariums ❤️ shannon and nikki are the best!

Came in to do a moms day prior to sending my daughter off to college and was told that she could not be in the building because of Idaho law. They said that they are bar and you have to be 21. It is NOT a bar… they serve wine. My daughter has been to several establishments more “bar” than this. I would prefer them to be honest and just say “we don’t want anyone under 21.” The lame excuse turned me off from attempting or recommending . Honesty goes further.

Saw them on Instagram and knew I had to stop by, was not disappointed! They've got a great selection of plants, all decently priced even for the more rare varieties. Little smaller selection of terrarium and ceramic pots, but you can also bring in your own! Definitely recommend, had a great time!

Gonna be honest I wasn’t expecting it to be fun, but I was so wrong. I haven’t had this much fun in awhile painting. They have a wide verity of things to paint and do!! The owner and Abby were amazing!!! They made it such a fun vibe and were so helpful with everything. Definitely coming back for another round. Also amazing cocktails!! Thank you so much. So many fun plants and a great atmosphere! They are very knowledgeable about plants and plant care. You can even have your plants inspected and repotted! I brought home some beautiful plants and am excited to go back to get more.
