Went to this location on my 30 minute lunch, no customers in the store. Walked in, lady behind the counter on the phone having a conversation with someone about work things that’s not what bothered me. What bothered me is instead of putting the person on hold or calling them back she decided making me sit there for 5 minutes while she aimlessly walked around the front and into the kitchen talking on the phone was reasonable. I will never come back to this location after the experience from today.

Love Yokozuna's! I had the Teriyaki Chicken and you get a variety of large vegetables not just cabbage.

I grab a chicken bowl from here every day. There were a couple of people waiting today and being impatient. It was only 7 minutes or so on a busy night. The kind gal upfront 'Nicole' was super sweet and respectful in letting everyone know the timing of their order and that other orders were already being processed. The food is yummy and affordable. They definitely get busy here and the food is cooked correctly. Some reviews talk about the veggies being plain but I personally like them steamed plain without seasoning, as I add their delicious custom sauce to it. I will be back every 48 to 72 hours I am sure...

I love the food here. The teriyaki bowl has big chunks of vegetables. Sadly I stopped eating here due to cleanliness. The cooks in the kitchen do not wear hair restraints. A couple of weeks ago was the last straw for me. There was a young kid with big floppy hair making my food. As if that wasn't enough I saw him run his hand through his hair. I spoke to him and asked him shouldn't you be wearing a hair restraint back there (i said nothing about running his hand through his hair). He said not that he's aware of. He said his boss never said anything to him before about wearing a hair restraint. A ball cap at Walmart is less than $10. Is it too much to ask that cooks in the kitchen put one on. Section 3.3 of the Idaho Food Code clearly states that cooks are required by law to wear a hair restraint. This was at the Fairview Ave location.

First time in. Was greeted by a nice young lady. She took our order and we sat down. Took about 10 minutes to get the order. It was very good. It needed heat, but otherwise excellent. Will differently come back. ?

This place is probably one of the worst Teriyaki places you can never go to their chicken is delicious however the veggies are not cooked they don't cook them they just serve you raw carrots and zucchini. Their egg rolls dismember because they wont provide enough pork.

Beyond horrible incompetent service. Slow. Slow. Slow. Expect 30 minutes after you order to get your food. And the place is not clean. The food is good. But wow... service is horrendous.

Food was alright. Not a lot of flavor. Meat was cooked perfectly though, won’t lie about that. Portion size for $12 isn’t that great.
Service was alright as well.
My plate was served within 10-15 minutes so timing was good.
Probably won’t be back. But was a somewhat enjoyable experience.

This place is one of my favorite comfort food places. There are so many flavors of boba sometimes it's hard to decide! I always get the steak teriyaki bowl with brown rice, and it's always cooked through the way I like it and their teriyaki sauce is indescribable, I haven't found any other teriyaki sauce thats the same, it's so delicious. There is always a ton of fliers for community events here on the walls, it's so nice and encouraging to get into the community of Meridian and the surrounding areas. Ever since moving to Boise I haven't been able to make it down to this location very often, but it's always a favorite of mine when I'm in this area on occasion. Thank you so much for the amazing food and service.

I ordered chicken and noodles at the Meridian location. After paying for my meal, I asked the gal why she charged me more than I normally pay. She said it was because I requested an extra packet of teriyaki sauce. My response was no one has ever charged me extra before. And I didn't appreciate the way she talked down to me. After thinking it all over for a minute. I asked her to cancel my order and give me a refund. I said I would rather go somewhere else to get something to eat. I am a senior citizen on a fixed budget and don't have a lot of money. I need to make every penny count. After fumbling around with the cash register for 10 to 15 minutes, she said she didn't know how to give me a refund. So I asked her to go find someone who does. A guy came from back out of the kitchen, after another ten minutes he said he couldn't figure it out either. He also told the girl that they normally don't charge for an extra teriyaki sauce. And if they did it would only be twelve cents. The difference in price was much more than twelve cents. So the first guy goes back in the kitchen to get another guy. He fiddles around with the register for a good 15 to 20 minutes and tells me he doesn't know or can't give me a refund. During this time he tells me the reason for the difference in price is because the price in the register is higher than the price listed on the menu. Meanwhile the two of them get on a cell phone and are calling someone what to do. The guy finally pulls a one dollar bill out of the till and says well this should take of the difference. Again I said I just want a refund. He refused to give me one. But he said well your food is ready and hands it to me. After waiting all this time the food was now cold. It was an insult to hand me a dollar bill and cold food and basically tell me to go away. I get home and look in the bag with the food. There wasn't even one packet of teriyaki sauce. The meal has always come with at least one. So I ate a cold tasteless teriyaki dish with no teriyaki sauce.

It isn't the first time I have had bad service from them. During another visit I waited half an hour because another gal couldn't figure out how to put points on a rewards card. And yet another time I asked the woman how long the wait would be before ordering. She said 15 minutes. I ended up waiting over an hour before I got my food.

One star is too much to give them. If I could give a zero I would.

To emphasize a few points, charging a customer a higher price than what is listed on the menu is not only dishonest, it is also illegal. It is beyond ridiculous no employee could refund my money. Extremely bad customer service. No one should be treated the way I was during my last visit.
