Sorry to be a downer but wow, we were surprised by the lack of service. Wine was ok, their tasting notes were inaccurate. But the real problem was the lack of welcome and unhelpful nature. Not once were we made to feel like we were a valued customer. We tipped out of courtesy but regret doing so.

The wines were alright, but seemed to be lacking a little something. It was also crazy to pay $10 for 4 tiny tasters here and then go to the Winery in Pullman later and get heavy taste pours for free.

While on another lovely little excursion through the Palouse, I found myself on the doorstep of Colter's Creek Tasting Room in Moscow, Idaho. It was incredibly well-kept inside, and I rather enjoyed the casual atmosphere of the establishment. The college student behind the bar was very knowledgeable, and was such a pleasure to talk to. I had originally planned on delighting in a glass or two of their 2018 fondo syrah, though upon recommendation from the server, I ended up enjoying a glass of their cabernet franc, which was delicious! Unfortunately, we were not able to seat ourselves outside due to the weather, though I am positively sure I shall find myself back here in the summertime, when weather permits. Overall a very enjoyable experience indeed.

We came back for a tasting as we enjoyed the wines the first time here. Wines are good. Tasting room was a little crowded for a Sunday afternoon. We enjoy our wine but like to read tasting notes for the wines we are enjoying. We asked for some along with a price sheet for purchase and the server couldn’t provide any. We went on the website to get our info. Good wine but seems like staff needs some additional training.
