Loved the atmosphere of this place. Food was delicious, servers were friendly and welcoming. We had a very large group for a youth hockey team and they were more than accommodating. Highly recommend!

This has become one of our favorite restaurants in the Moscow, Pullman, Lewiston, Clarkston area. It is just a warm, comfortable friendly place to go to. Personally, I can’t get past the smoked chicken wings. Their rub is so delicious and their homemade sauces totally yummy. My favorite Is their homemade sweet mustard sauce. My husband has really enjoyed the smoked Bologna sandwich, tater kegs, Sliders, French fries and baked beans. We are looking forward to trying more of their smoked meat choices. This is definitely a place worthy of checking out!

We decided to try the new BBQ and honestly I've never had worse BBQ in my life! I smoke my own brisket and ribs and personally I would never serve it to someone if it turned out that poorly! The service was poor and so were the drinks. I will not be going back again. Overpriced for the quality for sure!

I love trivia here, and in 2025 the food was ok, but they changed their whole menu and now the kitchen is always out of the only two popular dishes, and either leaves curds frozen or burns them when they are sent back. I have ordered things at the suggestion of the cashier and then gotten not at all what I ordered twice. I'm tired. Probably going to start bringing food from elsewhere to eat in the lot before trivia from now on. They need to hire more people to staff the kitchen when they are busy, and deal with their supply/demand issues. The prices are also super inconsistent for the quantity of food you get.
The wait staff is AWESOME. The cooks are overworked. It's nothing about them.

We stopped in to grab a drink and an app, and I was blown away. Best dark and stormy I’ve ever had, my mom had a gin cocktail and my dad had an old fashioned and said it was unreal. I HIGHLY recommend this place and the service was great.

It certainly was disappointing the mac and cheese, I fed my kids Kraft mac and cheese for years, theirs was no different. If you’re a fan of Bush’s baked beans, then this is the place for it. The brisket didn’t meet my expectations for “southern” style. Maybe my bar is too high when I’m comparing them to Rendezvous in Memphis or High Cotton bbq in North Carolina. And the price was too high for the meal.

I had a really good experience at Forty Two Bar & Kitchen in Moscow! The barbecue was excellent — tender, juicy, and full of smoky flavor. You can tell they put effort into their cooking and use quality ingredients. I tried a couple of different meats, and everything came out hot and well-seasoned. The sides complemented the meal perfectly.
The environment is also great — relaxed, comfortable, and clean, with a friendly neighborhood vibe. It’s the kind of place where you can sit back, enjoy your food, and feel at home. The staff were kind, attentive, and made sure I had everything I needed without being overbearing.
Overall, this spot is a real gem for good food and a laid-back atmosphere. Highly recommend it whether you’re local or just passing through Moscow!

Such a bummer I would come here soooo often before the spoiled college kids took over the karaoke(which has always been free on Fridays and Saturdays) and started choosing favorites if not being tipped via venmo! Lost some good customers, some regulars. Turning into another bogus collegey bar around here. Such a shame.
