A very charming lad served us. Was willing to try off-menu additions, was friendly, prompt, and laughed at my stupid jokes.
The blueberry oatmeal tart was so good: buttery shortbread crust with gooey filling and crispy top. Fresh and buttery. Yum.
The sandwiches ($11) were super tasty, but sadly the reason for the list star. Super buttery bread. I would not categorize it as brioche, as it was a bit hard… more like a challah. The taste saved it. Definitely could have used more meat, as we could not taste the pancetta, but neither of us cared because we loved the brie, arugula and sauce. Nom nom good.
The mocha ($5) was really good, easily the best I’ve had in the Palouse. I loved how hot it was, as it was warm all through lunch and even after we got home.
All was affordable and well-presented. Will try to go back while I’m still in town and during future visits.

A fun and delicious little jewel tuked away in the Eastside mall. It shares a wall with one of thr best florists in town. An enchanting little area for tea parties, meeting up with old friends, or grabbing a coffee and a lemon bar while your kiddos enjoy the play area at Eastside.

Kid-friendliness: It's not the largest space but it seemed quite friendly for Littles.

Ordered eclairs as a special birthday dessert for someone who is not a fan of cake. They received rave reviews! Soft yet crisp and flaky pastry filled with delicious pastry cream Great job!

Overpriced and not very good. What cost me 5 euro in france is 15 dollars here

Baguette was soft, flavor was decent but it’s not supposed to be soft. Also came wrapped in plastic which is not a good sign.

Croissant was soft and chewy, not right. Flavor was a little off.

“Chocolate croissant” had similar problems, but more so.

All in all I’d rather buy a ticket to Paris, get a baguette and fly back home instead of going here.

Very cute shop. I stopped by for the first time and was excited to see they had bouchons. I didn't taste them until I'd already left. Unfortunately, they were very hard and dry. However, I also tried their lavender butter cookie and it was delicious.

I got a chocolate eclair and I loved the custard, and that it was generous. I've had so many with custards that miss the mark. I thought this custard had just the right taste, mouth feel and after taste. I liked the chocolate. My eclair was not soggy. I have never had an eclair with dough I loved; I didn't love this but it had no flaws, either. Not too much dough, and holds the custard and chocolate!

stopped in here for a quick pastry and coffee. coffee was OK, pastry (croissant) was OK. the space is inside an old mall so it’s a little tricky i think to work with from a business perspective. Service was friendly.

Service was a little slow, but the food was excellent. We had the quiche, grilled cheese with jelly sandwich, monet claurent sandwich, apple tart and lavender cookies. They all were excellent. The employee was friendly but she was busy. The owner came by and helped out and apologized for the delays which we really appreciate. We will be back.

Killer bread in more ways than one

I got the eclair to go. I was so sad, it wasn’t the right shape; but it could have still been good. The Choux dough was soggy and wet, the chocolate glaze was thick and dense, and the pastry itself had a ton of custard. Maybe the fridge is not the best place to keep them? I wanted to love it so bad.

Was very disappointed for what I received. The Eclair was delicious but my coffee was disappointing. It was $3 for a small cup that was half filled and wasn't made well at all. The coffee was 100% not worth the price for what you get and the quality that you get. Not to mention the employee on shift was overwhelmed and an employee not even on shift jumped in to help her.

Such a lovely place to pause in the mad rush of life. Good food, good drinks, good service and lovely atmosphere.

My wife and I normally love this place. They serve great coffee and have wonderful pastries! However, the service today is amazingly slow. We have been waiting over a half hour, and when I asked about it, the server was rather blunt about saying it would be longer. This puts a crimp on those of us on a schedule. Had the service not been so slow, I would have given 5 stars without hesitation!
