Had bowl of chili (homemade) and grilled cheese sandwich which came with fries. Classic choices done well. Sat a window booth and watched the street traffic.
Handy to the road and good parking. No steps.

I left a 5 star review 2 years ago, and have visited many times since, but a lot less over the last year. In truth I was not looking forward to this meal and it did not disappoint my expectations.
A lot was wrong with today’s experience, but really what it boiled down to was a lack of proper support from the owner or manager (who were not there). Much of the menu items were not available; more people were waiting for food than eating, and those who were eating received overcooked and dry food. The wait staff were as kind and attentive as they could be, given the situation, as it was clear that the kitchen was understaffed and overwhelmed. They even had to work around their card machine which was not functioning properly. For their sake I hate to say that I likely won’t return until management improves.

Worst breakfast I have had in a long time. My over medium eggs were hard and crispy, my ham was fatty and cooked way too long. The coffee was okay and server was very nice.

The burgers and frys were good. The cod dinner, salad, and mashed potatoes were the worst we have had in years. To make things worse, the waitress (wearing a leopard print jacket) was the worst we have experienced in the last 50 years. To add insult to our experience, we attempted to order malts only to be told they were not serving ice cream. Subsequently, after paying the bill and as we were exiting the café, we noticed a couple that were eating ice cream Sundays. That put the final touch on an already bad experience!

When we went there was only 4 tables with customers. 3 of which already had their food..it took almost an hour for us to get 2 hamburgers. They were out of food such as the regular Fries, ice cream and there were a couple other things. I asked for onion rings and if I could get them extra crispy. They were greasy soaked, cold and not crispy. Noticeably there were were 3 cooks on duty and only 1 waitress. The place was NOT busy. Only 1 table , a couple, came in after us. When we left there were 9 tables to be bussed. The table next to us was full of dirty dishes when we sat down. When we left an hour and a half later it was still not bussed. I noticed that when we finally got our food there was a sudden influx of flies.
Do not recommend. Actually will be surprised if still in business in 6 months.

We had their Turkey & Dressing. I was really surprised. The turkey itself was legit smoked turkey. The sweet corn was real sweet corn, not just young field corn. Portion size for the turkey was very generous. Our server was great.

Called at 6:30 to ask for wait time. Told 30 min. Arrived at 7:00 and was told just a few more min.
At 7:30 we were seated.
At 8:00 we were finally asked about our order.
At 8:45 I asked to get our order to go.
It’s 9:10 and I finally have my food. 10 minutes after they closed.
It’s not lost on me that it was a busy night and we were a party of 6, but we watched repeatedly while others were sat, served, ate, and paid. We waited and waited. The manager was kind and apologized but offered no explanation for the delay, abet recognizing eventually that they forgot about us for a while. I understand this place is popular and our experience is hopefully the exception I can’t recommend anyone visit.

This was by far the worst experience I’ve had at a restaurant. We sat for 20 minutes before even getting water. Took over an hour to prepare our food and all the fries were cold as well as the chicken strips. Burger tasted good, but will not ever return to this establishment again. Service was pleasant but extremely uninterested in checking in and refilling the waters. We were not even asked if we wanted anything else to drink besides water. Way over priced for what is offered
It’s game day — but it’s also a diner — everyone will make more money if you have better service. Our waitress was doing the hustle and was sweet — give the girl a tray and some training.

No wonder it's a local's favorite! Great service and good food! Desserts are made in house, too. That chocolate silk pie is thick and chocolaty. Thoroughly enjoyed dinner. We'll be back for more meals.

First time visiting Moscow n cafe. The building was what caught our interest. Loved the diner look/atmosphere. Ordered finger steaks which wasn't anything special but good portions with onion rings. Husband had BBQ burger n he really enjoyed. Got a cinnamon roll to go. Friendly staff. If in town again would return but maybe order something else.

Oh Man... I've written 3 reviews here over the years, the last one being pretty good with the change of ownership a couple years ago. Unfortunately, that was a while ago and tonight was a mess. I can totally deal with training new young servers who have never worked in the industry, so that's fine. First mistake was watching my pre-dinner salad sit in the window for 10 minutes and finally delivered exactly 90 seconds before my entree arrived. Next the entree. I wanted the meat loaf, out. 2nd choice for the roast beef, out. Third choice, Chicken Fried Steak, (you guess it), out. Fourth choice the turkey - got it. It really looked good with all the trimmings, but I could not get beyond the salt content. It had so much salt it was all I could taste and just could not take another bite after a few slices. Since nobody came to check on me while I ate (5 total tables going) I wasn't able to say anything and didn't plan on making a big deal anyway, but after sitting for a while with the 1/2 eaten plate in front of me, somebody finally came by and didn't ask how it was or if I needed a doggie bag which is odd when you have that much food left on the plate. They just picked it up, which was fine since I definitely did not want to take it. I'm afraid my previous recommendation is on hold. Two stars for the food and service tonight.
Greatest place for a breakfast
