Great vibes and atmosphere here! I made a very specific, semi-odd, request for a club sandwich with no meat and our server was so kind and didn't hesitate!

Ordered through door dash and when I got my order it was missing the sausage gravy which on the stack it’s nice to have for a dry biscuit, when I called the said the reason I received my order with no gravy was because they were out at the time. Don’t you think the would let the customer know they didn’t have gravy before sending the order out? The lady that talked to me told me to get ahold of DoorDash do a refund on the meal and it only allowed me to get a partial refund and I let her know. She told me the refund was more than the gravy so I should be happy. Doesn’t help the fact that I’m missing part of my meal. Overall very poor interaction and I won’t be ordering there anymore.

As a thriller and romance author, I appreciate local places to eat. The turkey dinner is absolutely worth the drive to Moscow. JackJack’s Diner is a favorite location of mine in Moscow. I’ve completely lost count of the number times I’ve been there because it’s a really good deal. It’s a place where I sit and wonder up ideas for my novels. This place is so like a scene out of Back to the Future, that it inspires me for my fiction writing.

When I go in there, I can expect comfort food in a nice atmosphere. The interior and exterior the design of the diner is modeled after the 1950 style diners. I think these designs are actually somewhat modular because I seen similar designs over the country. However, it’s the food that keeps you coming back and the service knocks it out of the park.

The staff is fun, courteous, young and energetic. With the University of Idaho, they always have a source of student energy workers so that keeps the place going. It’s pretty rare when I’m in there when the place isn’t real busy.

The smoked turkey is incredible. I learned that they spend an entire day smoking it and getting it prepped before serving. It’s not some plain US Foods or Cisco stuff. This is actual real effort food. The first bite just blew me away. I’ve had other things that I liked and I’m not really a fan of turkey, but I decided to go for it. I will be back just for that.

Parking is decent. There’s parking lot that wraps around the building. It’s right near downtown so it’s highly accessible.

The location is clean and the noise inside is pretty manageable. It held up a bit during the lunch crowd, but that’s only because the energy. You expect that.

One of the best places to get breakfast or lunch. Best denver omelet. Hands down.

Me and my boyfriend loved going to Jack Jacks for all of our special events and today was no different. We wanted to go with our friend who is new to the area.

Food: I ordered a club sandwich and it was delicious; however, the fries that came with my sandwich tasted like sewage water and that is the first time they have ever tasted badly. They sent me running to the bathroom to throw up.
Edit: I would like to add that my fries were a FRESH batch of fries that were still hot and had fresh hot oil on them. The fries themselves tasted great; however, there was ONE fry that tasted like sewage water. This means that it was very possible someone tampered with my fries on purpose. Which genuinely sucks because I don’t think we were rude or demanding to any of the staff.

Service: Our server Trinity was horrible. We started our order with milk shakes and the second I finished talking she walked away without saying anything??? Then when we ordered our food she gave us attitude when our friend didn’t know the side options for her burger. She also never acknowledged us when we talked. Lastly, I don’t know if it’s me looking too deep into it, but our group was Hispanic and she sat us at an uncleaned table while another group of (white) individuals got to pick wherever they wanted to sit.

I don’t know if we will ever be going back to jack jacks which really sucks because we loved the vandal, club, milkshakes, and the fish sandwich, and even more the fries :((

Food was good, but our service was bad. Trinity, our waitress, had an attitude when serving us. She didn’t acknowledge our orders when talking to us. It seemed to us like she didn’t want to be there. When being seated, it seemed like it was based on our ethnicity (since we are latinos). We were given a dirty table while other people, who were white that came after us, got to choose where they wanted to sit. Please train Trinity better in customer service.

Looks great on the outside not in the inside. Place almost empty yet I was sat too close to the restroom. My view of the table in front of me was the dishes left behind by a previous party. Waitress came over and took my order, bacon, tomato, lettuce sandwich with onion rings. Smallest bit I’ve ever had with small tomatoe slice in each half, well done bacon pieces with lettuce. Bountiful Onion rings served with fry sauce best thing in the plate. I won’t be back.

Gave us a free huge cinnamon roll cause our order was taking a bit longer. Didn't even mention that it was a problem.

I think the waitress was new, she brought water and didn't offer sodas or drinks of any kind. That's learning, no big deal. My friend that came with me only ended up eating half her Philly cheese steak sandwich, mentioned to me afterwards that the meat tasted almost rotten and she's been in the bathroom more often than not since last night after we left there.

Had bowl of chili (homemade) and grilled cheese sandwich which came with fries. Classic choices done well. Sat a window booth and watched the street traffic.

Handy to the road and good parking. No steps.
