Horrible! I ordered a Taco Salad and what was served tasted really bad. I’m not sure what sauces they were using but the result was not good. The lettuce was either wilted or the white ends next to the stalk. I ate about 3-4 bites and quit then hoping that it doesn’t make me sick. There’s wi-fi but when I inquired I was told, “We have Wi-Fi but we don’t give the password to customers “.

Food was greasy but ok. Service was terrible. Very unfriendly and was booted out at 10.00 we had to take our desert home. Not worth coming back

AJ's had changed owners, I previously rated 3 stars. Now a solid 5. Great food, fantastic service! There is also a barbecue menu. Great stop for breakfast as well

Service wasn't bad. However the food was edible at best.Their "hand cut steak" was clearly pre frozen, and about 1/4 thick. I ordered it rare and it was medium at very least, it also seemed to be soaked in some kind of oil. I've had better steak at Dennys. The ribs my wife ordered had potential honestly, but they were extremely dry, and we had to ask for a side of BBQ sauce for it.For $50 I didn't expect amazing food, but I did expect decent food, and I expected the "hand cut steak" to be hand cut and cooked like I asked.Definitely will not be returning based on the food quality.. If the new owners do BBQ better, do the BBQ and give the old menu up.

Had the Open face turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes. Turkey was great - thick slices hand carved. Service was great. Bathroom could use a real deep clean on the grout and the mineral deposits on fixtures etc. We've come here several times and it's a great real meal while on the road. Thanks!

Quite possibly the best breakfast I have ever had. The sweet cream pancakes were phenomenal. In addition, the sausage and hash brown sides I ordered were very strong portions, unlike most breakfast restaurants. The environment was a tad strange, with the poor lighting and 3 star service. But the meal was so delicious, it is worth overlooking the non-consumable portion of the experience.

Cinnamon Swirl French Toast This dish was amazing. Our waitress was sweet and very professional. The service was great. I would definitely eat here again.

Amazing food! Amazing service! Our waitress Trinity treated us well! She was so helpful and quick! After months of going to other restaurants in the area and being continually disappointed, this visit to AJ's has restored our faith in the food community! Thank you!!On a side note, the orange juice was terrible, I would not recommend. Our waitress, Trinity, graciously got us something else to drink and we were very pleased!!

I felt like I was back at my high school cafeteria. I ordered the meat loaf diner and the meat was mush and the mashed potatoes were scorched. Only the service was adequate. Avoid this place if you can.

Haven't been in years - went tonight with small group - waitress was nice but very new and seemed highly nervous - everyone's food was cold , steak was cold, it was all bad - appetizer sampler was also cold and like they dumped half microwaved T.G.I. Friday's appetizers from wallmart on a plate- clam chowder was warm but like water (clams were not harmed in the making of the chowder either ,was like potato water??‍♂️) - people were walking to the gas station down the road to go to the bathroom because restrooms were closed....had to eat with plastic silverware and "to go" plates because no dishes available ...it was complete chaos - will continue to drive past this place in the future

cold food, lousy service, waitress too 30 minutes to get us our food. Redid the food was out under 10 minutes. That tells me they're not doing their job when our waitress is hiding in the back. Will not be back and would not recommend it

Every couple of years I give this restaurant another try in the hopes that things may have improved. They have not. My husband's steak was over cooked his green beans with bacon had no flavor not bacon or even green bean flavor. My fish and chips were in fish stick style not a filet. The fish and chips may have been acceptable at some drive through restaurant not for a sit down. The server was young and seemed new but was nice and did well. The food however is not worth the prices.

So many recent improvements! The pulled pork quesadilla is absolutely delicious!

So I wouldn’t say the service was bad there just wasn’t any. We got a pina colada that had no alcohol, ordered food Togo 3 meals got one in the box but the other 2 we’re on plates, we couldn’t sit at the bar, when we got home the meat to both hangover burgers was so burnt and dry we had to take the meat off just to eat it, the chicken on the hangover with chicken was dry and burnt couldn’t even eat it. Extremely disappointed! Not sure what the rave was about but definitely not up to par!
