“Stopped here with a big appetite after a great afternoon of hiking at Bruneau Sand Dunes. Bacon Cheeseburger combo with onion rings, fry sauce and a Pepsi really hit the spot! The tots were good, too. Service was friendly and our food came out pretty quick. Would definitely come back next time we're going through Mountain Home!”

“Absolutely wonderful food and service. Not a lot of options in Mountain Home and this place is one of our top choices for delicious food. We have never left hungry and always find ourselves so full from having to try all the different rolls.Kid-friendliness: They are great at showing kids the varieties of options while offering kid friendly options as well. My son always gets California rolls non stop, however is always curious and tries it as well. They are never too busy to answer the kid questions and show them the different fish”

If I had Questions or I am Unsure about what to Order they were there to Suggest and / or Explain, Describe items They Offer. “This place is so amazing! It was a little confusing to figure out how to order at first but the owner and I’m assuming her husband, were incredibly friendly and helpful! When they found out we were sharing with our children in the car, they made sure we had extra napkins, forks, plates, and water for our drive. The yakisoba was so flavorful, cooked perfectly and the portions huge! We split two with our family of 5. We also had rice and the owner gave us rice spice to try as well! Very very good and definitely recommended. The coconut rice cake was DIVINE. I wish I had an entire pan of it! The texture is different than typical breads but it’s very sweet without going overboard. Our boba drinks were exactly as expected and with a surplus of boba in it, exactly how I like it. We live out of town but travel this way frequently and we will definitely be back! Really just the two nicest, friendliest people with absolutely amazing customer service. Perfect stop: open late, amazing food, great service. A little out of the way but worth it!”

“Shiok is amazing!! It's a detour off of 84, but SO WORTH IT!! We got a couple signature dishes and the flavors are different and so good!! Whenever we are passing through again, we'll be back!! Service was great! And, the artwork on the walls is really cool!”

“Great place to stop for a bite to eat before some traveling! Stopped here to get some food before heading to our destination and decided we definitely needed to make a point to come back through on our way home to have breakfast there again and it was just as great as the first time! The service is amazing, they have your food made and brought to you in a very short time and they are always on top on making sure the tables are clean for the next guests that are gonna come in and the waitresses are very polite and well mannered <3 and not to mention for the amazing quality of food it’s a great price and they definitely fill you up! Definitely will have to stop here if we ever pass through again. Highly recommended eating here if you want a nice enjoyable place to have a bite to eat! (Definitely try the country fried steak and eggs for breakfast or lunch) <3”

“This place is so good! A little treasure of mountain home. Corn tortillas are wonderful, carne asada and el pastor tacos are my go to, they always season well and load that tacos up. So impressed and will definitely be back. Also they are so nice and fast. Support your local red taco stand, they are doing gods work. “One of the best deals in Mtn Home. Open late too! The $1.75 chicken tacos on taco Tuesday are delicious. Friendly service, salsa bar, generous portions, and consistent. Great restaurant.”

“We got a cheeseburger, fried okra, fried pickles, and 10 wings. I felt that the price was very reasonable for the amount that we got. All of the items tasted great and were cooked to perfection! The okra was cut nicely into bite size portions and the breading was crisp. The fried pickles were an epiphany. They only breaded the cut sides of the pickle, which made it stick better and was the correct ratio of breading to pickle. The chicken wings I ordered turned out to be the entire wing, which were cooked perfectly. They were covered in a breading that must be house made because it is absolutely flawless and I have never had one like it. I don't remember the last time I had fried chicken that good. I will definitely be back several times!”

“You can't beat the daily special of 1 or 2 slices +drink. Amazing, crisp NY Style pizza. Outside of that, a delicious assortment of pizzas, calzones, wings and more. I wish I could say more but it's just plain simple: The Pizza is awesome. Staff, while busy making ingredients and food, are chill..and the restaurant itself has a nice hole-in-the-wall pizza joint vibe I like. only small complaint I personally got is the arcade machines. One is dead and the other is...well needs a fix the last time I tried it. (might be better or worse now)...but thats me, not a factor overall.”

“Hamburgers were huge and freshly prepared to order. Jacquee had the Mushroom-Swiss burger, which had one pattie and fresh veggies. It was accompanied by fresh and hot french fries. I had a 1/4 double cheese burger, which had 2 patties and lots of veggies.The staff was friendly and anxious to please. They had oldies from a U Tube channel playing from ceiling speakers to atmosphere, but it was at a bit too high a volume for my taste. The menu was quite extensive and included breakfast and dinner options. (I hope a was able to show enough of it in my photos)”
