Sat for an hour waiting for food, not busy and at 2pm honestly a waste of time ill just go to Wendy's next time I come through this town. Food was cold but tasted good

Jesse LeFevre

took over an hour to get cold food, ill never return if this is the service to be expected for a very expensive place

Best bacon cheeseburger I've had on our family road trip. Awesome fries. If traveling through Mountaun Home, I recommend trying this place out!

Fantastic bacon cheeseburger and fries, friendly and quick service, and a nice clean interior.

Frankie’s serves the old fashioned, hand made hamburger you’re looking for. Nice diner vibe in old downtown Mountain Home, Idaho. Get off the interstate, drive past the fast food joints and come to Frankie’s for an authentic American classic burger & fries with a malt or shake.

All I can really say is that Frankie’s has really excellent burgers, from the one I ate. The price is a little bit high for what it is (think around $10-12 for just the burger and fries), but it makes up for it a bit with flavor. I had a chili burger and would definitely order it again if I had the chance. The fries are tasty! You may want to put a bit more salt on though, but that’s all preference.

Service was a bit slow, but I chalk that up to it being a Tuesday and there only being two folks working the counter.

Worth a stop if you’re in the area!

Great sourdough cheeseburger, fish sandwich and finger steak dinner! Milkshakes are always great too!

I've been eating st Frankies for years, and honestly it's always been one of my staple favorites. Their portions are fair, and the food is a guilty pleasure that keeps me coming back time and again. Their prices are very reasonable, and noticeably cheaper than restaurants of similar quality.

Let's be honest here, they're a greasy burger kind of a restaurant. They're not pretentious, and they don't try to fool you with an updated interior and fancy atmosphere. What you see is what you get, and what you get is excellent 👌

What made me leave a review after these past 3 or 4 years is their breakfast burritos. After every drunken night I always find myself calling up Frankies for that sweet sweet breakfast burrito. It's always been good, and their prices have never budged, but they have done something different with their burritos that simply has to be announced. The burritos hit different this morning, something with the cheese, and I feel like they put more meat in it too.

TLDR; Frankies is everything you want and nothing you don't for a reasonable price. Breakfast burritos are excellent, and fry sauce is included. Bonus: it's never busy or packed.

Update: Really nice people. Great service, good food, all 4 meals were very good and the burgers were juicy not pucks.
Music was appropriate for the feel, but still too loud. It is background music after all.

Hamburger Pattie’s was much smaller than the bun. The onion rings are no longer hand dipped and we’re too crunchy and not good. Burger King’s onion rings are much better. Quite a disappointment. Probably won’t go back.
